CNN’s reporting is trying to help Obama-Biden win over Jewish voters (with this slant). That is to say, that this church is even worse that Obama’s respect for “Minister” Farrakhan and his two decades-long association with an anti-Semitic kook, Jeremiah Wright.

I read an earlier thread this morning on FR that had a direct quote from her pastor saying he doesn't encourage that in their church, and it's not something Sarah has done.

In my understanding, an “evangelical” is shorthand for a Bible-believing, serious Christian. “Fundamentalist” is often used the same way - it seems that any more, that means you believe the Bible is the real and only word of God, and you take your Christian duties seriously.

“Protestant” would include them AND all the mainline denominations, who are not always so Bible-believing and tend to have a more social gospel.

“Christian” would be all of the above plus the Catholics.

“Catholics” would be just the Roman Catholics.

That’s my best understanding of our current culture’s use of the words.

This is a coordinated attack by the MSM and the Obama campaign, for proof of that we only need to remember what Biden said earlier today that the American People would find her too 'Extreme'. Then CNN; Campbell Brown trashes her and then MSNBC; Olbermann for her religious beliefs.

If there was any doubt who the MSM is in the tank for, there shouldn't be any now because it is blatant and obvious. The objective is to put her on the defensive while Obama gears up for his 'Major Policy Intiative' in Education which is basically a redo of free publicity that already failed to generate a bounce at their convention. They are all working hard to stop the momentum of McCain/Palin and attempting to get Obama rolling again.
