What would be the consequences if Obama tried to replace Biden with a woman?

I am not sure if intrading is trading on the Proposition that Obama drops Biden for Clinton or Sibelius, but what would be the political consequences if he were to attempt to do it?

Could he actually do it and get away with it?

“When you have Obama on the ticket, why would you need another girl?”

LOL! First belly-laugh of the day. Thanks! :)

He would supported by diehards saying it’s change.

But he would lose anyway. He is going to lose.

Why not Janet Reno, to ensure a victory in Florida?

Albright is a naturalized citizen, so she's not eligible.

He could away with it only by killing Biden.

So he needs the Clintons after all?

"Ron Brown's body lies amouldering in its grave..."

Obama doesn't want to die in office...he won't pick Hillary even if Biden bows out.

....only if Plugs Obiden would suddenly develop some sort of heart malfunction could he pull it off....within the next few days. Ya know for the good of the party, Hildabeast would step up to the plate, for the good of the party, and Bubba, just off the luncheon with Obambi could stand quietly in admiration of the newest “ticket”

"I personnally feel it’s an excellent idea and hope with every fiber of my being that Obama does this very thing."

Ok, but watch your cholesterol.

IMHO, it would be a disaster of epic proportions for 0Bama if he threw Biden under the bus and tried to snag Hillary or Selebius(sp?), for many reasons.

-Any move along these lines would be seen for the crass pandering that it is. Only the hardest core moonbat would buy any other story. That’s assuming Hillary or Selebius would even deign to consider the VP at this point. My feeling would be “oh, I wasn’t good enough when you were winning, but now you need my help? Bleep you and the horse you rode in on, buddy.”

-It would raises enormous questions on the “judgment” 0bama keeps harping about. The guy you picked to be your second, after long deliberation and vetting, suddenly isn’t good enough? How can we trust you to appoint Dog Catcher after that?

-Even more damaging on the judgment issue, it would define 0bama as someone who cuts and runs when things get tough. Part of being a leader of *any sort* is standing by your decisions, and accepting the consequences when they don’t work out like you planned. The world is watching, and you can bet that any perceived (read: exploitable) weakness by a candidate will be noted by both our allies and rivals.

-Biden has no reason to go quietly into that night. I dislike Biden, but he’s given the 0bama camp no cause for his dismissal. Were I him, I would raise ten kinds of Cain if I were asked to step off the ticket.

If Obama replaced Biden it'd be suicide. But Biden might 'develop health issues' and ask to be released, and that could work, at least among the faithful. But I don't see Obama replacing Biden with Hillary, he's got an elegant sufficiency of viragos already. Donna Brazile might be a good pick, a veteran party soldier willing to carry the flag in what would probably be a losing cause by then.

The fact that we are even entertaining this in such a manner is telling.

He might get away with it if Biden had to drop out for health or other personal reasons but they would have to be verifiable so as not to be seen as a ruse.

Basically risky, more downside than up.

You can put lipstick on a Biden, it’s still a Biden!

It can only be done if Biden dies in a small plane crash, or is suddenly revealed to have incurable cancer in an advanced state, or is otherwise seen to be unfit to run.

I’m sure the Dems could easily arrange that, if they chose to. Hillary’s machine or the Chicago mob would be happy to help.

But would people actually believe the official story if they did this?

Who knows? The Joisey Dems managed to change horses right before the election, and pulled it off. It depends how many moonbats there are and how many dead people and illegals plan to vote.

John McCain seems absolutely delighted that his crowds have swelled because of Sarah Palin. He's not completely full of himself.

I have to announce to all here that I was completely wrong in my prediction as to what McCain would do regarding a VP.

I was sure there was absolutely no way he would choose anyone that would take any of the spotlight away from him. I believed that his ego would not permit him to do this.

I stand corrected. I also admit he is running a much better campaign that I anticipated.

I still don't trust him on GW and illegals. But we will fight those battles after the election, if he wins.
