He can’t win. He won’t win. It is over
The Collins Report ^ | September 11, 2008 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

Posted on 09/11/2008 5:55:32 AM PDT by jmaroneps37

Since February I have been saying that Barack Obama would get crushed in this year’s presidential election. … The signs of trouble for the Democrats have always been there…

….Today it is no longer “wishful thinking” or “proof you have been smoking something” to say John McCain will crush Barack Obama.

..here are the numbers that say it is over..

To win Obama must get these numbers with these groups:

..women, he needs at least plus 7. He is down 12.

White males needs at least 36%. If he gets 30% he will be lucky

Catholics: needs 50%. He is down 59/36.

Evangelicals: needs 71%. He is running against an Evangelical and has nothing to offer these Christian voters.

Jewish vote: needs 80%. He is at 57%.

Black vote: needs 95%. Zogby says he has “lost support” among Black voters.

Hispanic vote: needs 65%. The only polls available show he is at 65% so that won’t help, it will only slow the bleeding.

Democrat base support: needs 92%. He is at 86%.

Independents: needs 49%. He is losing 52/37.

This one is over. On Monday September 29, 2008 at about 5 PM when the last weekend polls come in, the numbers will spell doom for the Democrats. On September 30, 2008 the McCain Palin campaign must plan on switching gears and start asking for votes to give them a Republican Congress. It could keep the margin down and keep us safe from the Democrats for another two years.

..there will only be four elected Democrats who will be happy on Nov. 5, the Clintons, George McGovern and Walter Mondale because Barack Obama will take them off the hook as having taken the worse beatings in history

The blacks I know at first were going to vote him but now won’t. They think he has laughed at them in that he is a clown of a candidate and not someone blacks can respect.

If all the wheels come off his bandwagon, his strongest supporters will not be motivated to come out to vote. There could be a few surprises along the way. The Democratic Party is not all that popular with most of the country.

I'm not buying that one. There is good news though...new polling has McCain ahead by 5 in Virginia. I heard it on the radio this morning...just a teaser so I don't know who's poll it is.

It is all about turnout. Obama and the Dems have built an impressive on the ground network in virtually every state, the produce of a highly contested primary that went down to the wire with every state counting. Such happy talk as this underestimates the Dem base and their ability to get out the base.

"His defeat, although not certain yet, should be such that he will never contemplate running for POTUS again in the future."

There would have to be a 49 state landslide for McCain for this to happen. I just don't see it. Obama will be within 30 electoral votes for sure. McCain might get 54% of the vote max.

With that in mind, you can almost count on a Clinton/Obama showdown in 2012 for the Democratic nod. My guess is that the Dems give the nod to Clinton this time. Now, does McCain just go one term and make Palin the automatic front runner for the Republican no? Clinton vs. Palin, that could be one for the ages.

I was not aware that the Elecotral College gave votes to “Catholics”, “Evangelicals”, “Jews”, “Blacks”, etc. I thought it went by states.

Better late than never. I don't think the Dems and the MSM are going to see it coming. They never do!

I pretty much agree with this guy, at least about the presidential race and have believed since the primaries that Fauxbama had ZERO chance of winning, and that if he got 40% during the general election he’d be lucky, and could very well make McGovern look good.

I have far more faith in Mr. and Mrs. America to see through a stuffed shirt and propped up peon, than in the democrats ability to prevent them from realizing they have put up a stuffed shirt and propped up peon.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the jewish is oneo f the many reasons bambi is struggling to hit 50% in NY and NJ.

If he gets wiped out by a landslide, he will NEVER run for President again. Hillary would be overjoyed to eliminate her most serious threat. For once, she, Bill and the GOP have the same interest in common.

"Black vote: needs 95%. Zogby says he has “lost support” among Black voters. "

There may be less black voters turning out in November if it looks for certain like Obama will lose. However, he will still get 95% of their vote. Of that I have no doubt.

I second the motion.

We need to fight and fight hard - get the vote out with a vengeance.

More corpses will be voting in this election than ever before. More bums will be getting cartons of cigarettes and bottles of vodka on this election day than on any previous one. More convicted felons will be voting in this election than ever before.

Obama will get at least 2 million votes that could not be legally cast.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!?

/Blutarski

Complacency is the goal of any - ANY - lamestream media article putting Obambi “out of it” or saying “its’ over”. I have no clue who the author of this is, but I can tell you that the number one danger for all of us is to believe that Obama is through. We need to keep fighting the fight, every day, and in every way possible! (gosh, I sound like a cheerleader!?!)

We can’t take anything for granted. Dem fraud will be a whole new ball game this year, I’m certain.

Yep, he will become another Democrat senator whose unaccomplished “public service” made him a multi, multi millionaire. And, he will be able to settle into being another made for TV career U.S. Senator....doing little, criticizing everything and everybody.

Obama needs 71% of evangelicals. That cannot be correct.
