Jessica Goral had pretty much made up her mind two weeks ago: she was going to vote for Barack Obama. Then John McCain picked Sarah Palin as his running-mate.
“She empowers a lot of women,” said Mrs Goral, a mother of two in Macomb County – a national bellwether in the battleground state of Michigan and an area rich in white, working-class swing voters who will play an important role in deciding the election in November.
“I like that she’s a brand new mother, and that she has the courage to stand behind her pregnant daughter. She relates to working women. For all of us who have children at home but have to go to work every day – she has given us a sense that we can still do it and can be an excellent mum,” she said. “Sarah Palin is a role model. She’s made me more likely to vote Republican.”
If Mr Obama should be in any doubt how gravely the vice-presidential nomination of the Governor of Alaska has imperilled his White House ambitions, then a day spent in Macomb County will make this clear: white women who voted for John Kerry in 2004 are suddenly deserting the Democratic Party.

I hope all these wonderful swing voters remember this when Hillary comes back into the picture after Biden goes away to “spend more time with his family”.
This nation is in a fight for its life and less than half of its citizens understand what’s at stake.
The Marxists/Communists/Socialists and their fellow travelers must be defeated soundly because if not, this will be the last truly “free” election in a long time.
The liberals of the MSM and far left are having a field day grilling Sarah Palin, making fun of her, mis quoting her and calling her all kinds of names. I just had to turn C. Matthews off because his insulting remarks were just too much..no wonder they have demoded him. The backlash will become more and more evident as this trashing goes on. Sarah is not only smart...she makes these media people look like the moles they really are.

My friends mom in MI. Former PA Dem, Catholic retired School teacher. Before Sarah, pulling lever for McCain wanted to for Hillary. Does not trust Barry.
Friend goes to (Wayne County MI) family picnic. All Inlaws, Blue Collar Dems, Liked what they saw in Sarah, sealed the deal.
Former ANti War Hippie, Former social worker that worked in inner city Detroit. Voting Rep. 1st time in his life voting R, Says Barry has Idenity issues, he doesn't know who he is....
2 of 4 if not 3 of 4 Jewish relatives of my wifein the northern Chicago burbs before Sarah came on the scene (it may be sweep now) were for McCain and this is in "Barry's" backyard!

It’s pissing people off and they will be voting for her.
It is my hope that when the dust settles after November, ALL MSM stock will crash to rock bottom.
The only thing I found wrong was saying “PALIN” empowers women.
Women are far more powerfull, strong, and resiliant than some think. A woman like Palin if under estimated can really show her strengths.
She has taken more hits in a couple of says without complaint or playing the gender card. Than OBAMA HAS IN MONTHS.
She didn’t crack or stutter and esplained to them her views. Even when they try to smear her it backfires.
They can tell what type of woman PALIN has show herslef to be. Determined, Realentless, and smart. None of yuor attacks will break her spirit.
Attack OBAMA one time he will fall apart suttering UHHHHH’s. Then finally answering stupidly above my paygrade.
So Sarah doen’t Empower you GOD does.
What SARAH Palin show’s you is not to settle for being beaten never quit.
She is inspirational in here demeanor and actions. She is tougher than anyone in the media thought. Shows you you are alot stronger ,tougher, and powerful.
You just have to be have a spirit that can’t be undermined. A sense of self worth and self reliance.
Something Oprah doesn’t show her audinence.
But I hope more Women find SARAH inspirational and show their daughters a Woman can have it all.
Be smart, intelligent, and tough. Have a job and family just how much perserverence do you have.
No attack will defeat Sarah Palin because she had true Self Esteem. NO one guided her along she fough hard to get where she it and will continue to the end.
NO one can take this or her other fine qualites away. SHe has earned respect and the media can’t take it away. Nor her slef esteem and self-respect.
Turn of the Hanah montana and fake wanna be role models tell your daughters how she it and how she got what she wanted.
IF she and McCain gets elected it’s because they were better. And SARAH never chickened out, whined, cried, or tried ot get fake sympathy.
She slogged through a hail of Critisim her opponent never endured.
Nor would another woman Hillary. But SHE is was elected VP because of her Character but from the willingness to WORK HARDER, and SMARTER than her counterparts.
That is someone who you can look up too. Not hip wiggling Britney Spears. Be more like PALIN learn to EARN things.
Oh, I think that would make them even more angry with Obama! He dissed Her Heinous, but drags her back out so she can shore up the women's vote? Somehow I don't think some of those women, who were not already firmly in his camp, would look too kindly upon that.
And Obama's picture is in the dictionary under "henpecked".
I've been to many pubbie volunteer meetings and have never seen this many young women volunteers {most of them very very easy on the eyes}.
I've always said that pubbie women were hotter than demonRATS.
There was real excitement in that hot room and it was all about Sarah.
John McCain made the correct selection and it may save the Presidency as well as recapture the congress.

I knew many Hillary supporters were converting to McCain because of Palin (I’m frequenting their sites), but it takes a lot to turn one of these Obots.
If any real numbers of female Obambi supporters turn to McCain and join their pro-Hillary sisters, Obambi has more to worry about than whether McCain can use a computer.
There are NO mulligans for a VP pick.
Hillary! knows this political fact, and would refuse to get on the sinking ship OTitanic.
Look at this way - the other side would question Obambi's judgment, and rightly so. They could jam it down his throat with coffee in the AM, then all day long, for dinner and for that special midnight snack.
