Barack Obama's big blunder
Daily News ^ | Sept 14, 2008 | Michael Goodwin

Posted on 09/14/2008 6:15:20 AM PDT by lt.america

With top Dems fearing Barack Obama is in a hole, the Obama campaign has made a weird decision. It's going to dig that hole deeper, harder and faster.

No more Mr. Nice Guy, Obama vows. He's going to really start hitting John McCain now. He's going to make voters understand that McCain equals four more years of George Bush.

My favorite line:

"He secured his base in Europe, but neglected West Virginia, where Clinton beat him by 40 points"

I’m telling you, the Gibson/ABC hit piece was a Godsend.

It was SO painful to watch, so obviously butchered (not just edited)...

Even the sheeple will be leary of anything the MSM says from now on.

When you can’t stand on your own merits, go smear you opponent. That is the oldest game in politics. Change anyone?

Barry is forgetting what he wrote in his book, on "how to talk to white people".

It was usually an effective tactic, another one of those tricks I had learned: People were satisfied so long as you were courteous and smiled and made no sudden moves. They were more than satisfied; they were relieved - such a pleasant surprise to find a well-mannered young black man who didn't seem angry all the time.

In his latest ad, he appears very, very angry and I guess that's his strategy from now on.

I don’t think this McCain = Bush line is working for him. For one thing, I don’t think George Bush is nearly as unpopular as Obama thinks he is. Also, McCain is clearly different from Bush.... although I’m not sure that’s entirely a good thing.

It seems that the hype couldn’t live up to reality. I wonder if the dems will soon regret not testing their candidate. They chose Obama based on a fantasy. They ignored all the warning signs that he was a dud. The only cared about image. But image without substance is not much to go on when reality hits.

I just can’t wait to see what Obama is going to be doing to himself now that he’s really trying.

I mean, what else is left for a guy who criticizes a disabled former POW for not doing something he’s incapable of doing.

This should be very entertaining....

Sure, that’ll work!

Get meaner with the old white guy/injured war hero, with the hard working dynamic Hockey Mom VP who gets right in your face and fights back! (With a smile.)

You think the Bradley effect is strong now, wait till November.

“How about a new idea? How about putting some meat on the bony promise of “change”?”

LOL! Ask a supporter what Zer0 stands for and all they can say is “change”. That's exactly why “The Big O” isn't telling the sheeple, because most won't like it.

And of course, if we can get this though to middle America, Obama’s first ad was that McCain was behind the times because. McCain said he didn’t know how to work email.

Then we find, McCain can’t work a keyboard because of his shoulder injuries from the VietKong. He dictates to Cindy and she sends the emails.

. He's going to make voters understand that McCain equals four more years of George Bush.

Four more years of George Bush?

I predict a John McCain presidency will be far different than George Bush's. There are things John isn't telling the American people about changes that will take place after he's sworn in. Many will like those changes, but if you're on the government payroll, you might not like them.

McCain is the one who will take an axe and chop off the extraneous parts of the federal government. He will cut taxes and with gentle prodding will agree that ANWR needs much drilling, the US needs more nuclear power plants and many more refineries. He'll get the regulation zombies off the backs of our industries and we'll see things getting done.

Our congress will change because many Americans now realize that the Democrat Party of Evil is totally incapable of governing sensibly.

The Party of Death has shot itself in the foot, the leg, the chest and the neck. They may never recover after this next election.

How an American political party can scrounge around resumes and dig up this unqualified, egomaniac, muslim Obama and foist him on the vast unwashed populace who would vote for a dog as long as he's a democrat, should escape us not at all.

Obama's (and the hard working Michelle's) program is to begin 'educating' our children in little camps, much like the communists do, where their little heads full of mush will be filled with homosexual propaganda, how racist they have become due to association with their parents.

Look! This is their plan!

My bro in law, a die hard Dem, retired union guy, wil not be voting for Barry.

The reason is he doesn’t trust him.

He mentioned that he wasn’t surprised Michelle Obama wasn’t at the 9/11 memorial service. His words? “She hates America”.

Obambi picking on McCain’s computer skills was another brilliancy! Take a shot at a wounded war hero right in the middle of a war! Very Kerryesque!

“She hates America”.

Yep. If the average Joe has looked at ( )bama and his mentors, they see that they do hate America.

Saul Alinsky, William Ayers, Jerimiah Wright and who knows who else, have a common bond; they hate America.
