Obama does not intend to install the missiles at all. In the O’Reilly interview Obama agreed with the shielkd and then threw in “but I want to make sure it works”. O’Reilly, being O’Reilly, agreed with that “sensible” statement.

Democrats pretend missile defenses don’t work. Obama will never give the Poles missile defense, he doesn’t even want us to have it,

I thought perhaps that might have been his point, too. He wouldn’t position it to defend against a Russian missile...which is an even worse mistake than if he just gaffed and thought shields target a coutry.

Obama is correct depending upon how it is configured. Missile shields never “target” per se, but are deployed, often, with an envelope against which to defend against. I don’t know if this system is 360 degree; someone will have to comment.

I am sure that you are more knowledgeable about Missile def. than I, but wouldn't you think it would be stupid to suggest that you put a sys. in this area without including Russia in the envelope against which to defend?
