It would be funny if Gov. Palin would address the issue pre-emptively, at the debate, for example:
“It would be helpful to all of us if Senator Biden would clear up the rumors once and for all... how is his health?”
If true, I guess maybe Obama wants to wear an armored vest and have a flunky taste everything he eats for 4 or 8 years. But I can’t believe egomaniac Biden would be good soldier enough to give up his last chance to inhabit the WH.

The thought is one that should be left to satan. However, every decision Obama makes will be done with the press asking, "What would Hillary have done?" And of course, she would constantly be looking over his shoulder. In fact, Obama may end up like Espy.
A few more states will open early voting prior to October 2, most of the remaining start 10-14 days out from election day.

I don’t think Hussein will do this. By Palin mentioning in her interview that he “Problably regrets not picking Billary..” she pushed Hussein into a corner or SHAME.
Good thing Guiliani boldly advised Biden “Better get it in writing.” If you remember, it was on the heels of saying that Obama can’t make up his mind about anything.
At one point I thought he may have switched candidates but now that he’s leading in EV and popular vote, it seems unlikely he’d make this change.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. How would they get around all the early voting, which begins in some states in just a couple weeks and the absentee ballots? I just don’t see it happening, unless they are desperate.

That’s a good idea - Say that rumors have been circulating the internet that he would drop out for health reasons and Hillary would replace him, and ask him to put those rumors to rest.
I wonder, will it be a “Torricelli” or a “Ron Brown” type of pullout. If I were JB, I would get the VP slot in writing and get a food taster.
Rumor and likely to remain so. Politically, Obama can’t appear to have made such a colossal error as selecting Biden, then allowing him to drop out in favor of Hillary. Biden knows it’s a bad move, Obama knows it’s a bad move, Hillary knows it’s a bad move and most Obama sycophants will know that it’s a bad move.
The political fallout will be that if he made that big of an error in initially selecting Biden, how can Americans trust his judgement on other, even more critical choices he would have to make as president? War or no war? Bad budgets or no bad budgets? Bankrupt the US or not?
I personally don’t care if the dems pull the old switcharoo. Up against Palin she’ll come across as being the hateful, arrogant, unhappy, lying, shrill shrew that she is. But even more importantly, what is it exactly that she can say she has accomplished for her NY constituents—let alone the country? Nada, zippo, nothing, and zero. Biden, at least, has a track record.
If she replaces Biden, IMO, the dems are running two cyper candidates. The biggest thing either of them have done in their political lives is get elected to the US Senate. Surely the McCain campaign can find a way to make use of the double cyper—”00”.
Realistically, this deal will only come off if Hillery can overcome her ego to assume No. 2 spot. That said, one must allow for the outrageous from the Clintoons. For example, she could take Veep slot and then, voila (pardon my French), something mystically and magically happens to Obama on the way to the forum. I’m just sayin-——————
