"Don't Worry, Be Happy." The Donna Brazile theme song. So both nominees can just passively sit back and not worry because "progress" on the bailout bill is supposedly being made.

Either mccain or obama are going to be in the White House, living with the results of this. It only seems right that they should be involved.

Donna and other democrat bastards are simply acknowledging that they do not have a leader at the top of their ticket. We Republicans do and want our leader there to make sure the democrats don’t make their financial mess even worse. They are the party of the stupid afterall...

Some times you feel like a nut, some times you don’t. Donna Brazille is a nut.

With her guy in the losing position on this issue, it’s nice to have Donna continue the digging.

From Hannity’s forums,

“Call me if you need me”. Obama says its the biggest crisis since the Depression, and he cant even be bothered showing up to vote PRESENT.

The thing that chaps my @ss is that ZerObama says we need a president who can do more than one thing at time...while demonstrating through his actions that he is only doing ONE thing at a t time...campaigning. (At least until Bush called his bluff.) But what chaps me is that the media doesn’t call him on it.

Both are senators. I think McCain made the right choice. Obama sounded annoyed and arrogant yesterday during his press conference.

Obama can’t risk taking a leadership role on this issue becuase he has too many hidden skeletons in his closet. Can’t have them spill out in the open when accusations on who is responsible for what start flying around.

Another astute move by McCain. He suspended his campaign, said the country should come first and he was going back to Washington to help make it happen.

NObama said...."If you need me........call me"

Real leadership there, Barry.

Brazile assured us over and over that "progress" on the bailout was being made so there was no need for the nominees to appear in Washington

Leadership is running from crisis. "The better to keep one's hands clean, dearie," followed by the wicked witch's evil laugh.

I really think the Dems are worried about the American people finding out what really happened. The Dems fingerprints are all over this mess and they don’t want the American people to pay attention.

McCain showed some true leadership by stepping up. I also think he is going to expose the Rats during this fiasco. This will be front and center until the end of this election.

Since Donna Brazile is annoyed, that means McCain did the right thing.

Bush needs to use the Reagan Bully Pulpit and blame the Dems for this absolute catastrophy. No Kodak moments either today, sign this in private and get on with your work.

They both should be there because they are being paid by the taxpayers to be the Senator of their states, AZ & IL!
That is what John McCain should have said. “I am running for president but I am still a senator from AZ representing my constituents and I am going to do that!”
I still think these people who run for another office should have to resign their positions so their constituents are being represented full time!

Donna Brazile: No Need for Nominees to Show Leadership on Bailout Bill.

Yes IGNORE the fact that both nominess are actually paid US Senators (Lawmakers)
Yes Why worry that the nominess would not show leadership in the single most important issue facing the Nation 30 days prior to the election.
Spoken like a true partisan that understands her candidate lacks the experience and knowledge to deal with the issue and is seeking cover for him.........
