The Barack Obama campaign is asking Missouri law enforcement to target anyone who lies or runs a misleading TV ad during the presidential campaign.
"Prosecutors and sheriffs from across Missouri are joining something called the "Barak Obama Truth Squad". Two high profile prosecutors are part of the team and we met them this afternoon in the central west end...They are Jennifer Joyce from the City and Bob McCullough the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney. They will be REMINDING VOTERS THAT BARAK OBAMA IS A CHRISTIAN WHO WANTS TO CUT TAXES FOR ANYONE MAKING LESS THAN $250,000 PER YEAR....THEY ALSO SAY THEY PLAN TO RESPOND IMMEDIATELY TO ANY ADS OR STATEMENTS THAT VIOLATE MISSOURI ETHICS LAWS....
Jennifer Joyce said: We want to keep this campaign focused on issues.... we don't want missouri voters distracted by these divisive character attacks,so we are here to respond to any character attacks and to set the record straight.
Bob McCullough said: Whether it is directly attributable to the campaign or one of the soft money operations, if they're not going to tell the truth then somebody's got to step up and say "That's not true... THIS IS THE TRUTH"
The Obama campagin tells us that other prosecutors and sheriffs are part of the team including some from the Kansas City area and from Rural parts of the state and that the Truth squad is expected to include Jefferson County Sheriff Glen Boyer...."
If Missouri Sheriffs and Prosecutors are going to censor websites, editorials, election campaigns and the news - who is to say it can't spread like kudzu to your city or state.? BTW, Since Obama was never baptised and Reverend Wright is/was a Muslim too - are they Christians?
Who defines who is or isn't a christian? And can my county sheriff order me to cease and desist my republican campaign website that contains videos from Youtube? or news feeds from GOP and conservative sources? How did the Obama campaign get Missouri Legal system to become their censors? Obama likes to clear the field of all competition so these two items ( being a non christian and tax increases/decreases for the under$250k crowd) must be hot topics in focus group discussions
Who can stop the government from supporting Obama? This is identical to the government support of those who oppose the anti-muslim crowd action in Germany last week. You must not be from Missouri - it's not 'just democrats' its pressure to keep your job and pressure to conform to the propaganda lies or face a job loss. The government is populated with democrats who know they are right to suck the lifeblood out of the population. A sheriff or prosecutor should not be involved. St. Louis County should be absorbed into Illinois. We should split more of KC with Kansas so the liberals can be absorbed by more real people. Missouri would go Pubbie every time.

I was reviewing parts of the debate again this morning, and you are so right... At one point Obama kept looking at McCain, and using his name, and McCain was busy writing notes, and seemingly ignoring him completely. And you are right, it REALLY did not make Obama happy. I didn’t realize last night how much that particular thing got to him. Obama was trying to anger McCain, and get him to engage in a verbal argument vs. a debate. McCain was too smart to let him do that... And, every time that did almost happen, McCain was quick to slam Obama (especially during the Kissinger exchange(s). Reviewing it, as I said, makes this all the more apparent!
All in all I think it was a very good debate, and I think McCain did very well. :)

by following in the mis-guided footsteps of one of The Founding Fathers,
John Adams.
Only he’s decided that simply as a candidate for The Presidency,
speech against him should be an offense.
I’d love it if some tough Republican would send him a letter asking
if his plan follows John Adams’ sedition act...so we can still make

concern that, as vicious, wearing and emotionally
stressful as this election was always projected
to be, our folks will tire and become complacent
just when we need the most vigorous battle forces
on the field.
I just left a message @ Ms. Joyce’s office,
that I was outraged at this partisan political
insertion, and that I’ll be watching to see
if the same will be done for misleading McCain
ads.
