Dems' bailout want $ for corrupt 'ACORN'
By Grant Swank
B. Hussein is part and parcel of one of the most corrupt organizations at the grassroots level. He knows the rot. He has contributed to the rot. And now he runs for the highest office in America.
It's the corrupt Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) that will get some of the bailout money.
That's what Dems are championing.
Here's how this corrupt entity will get its dough. Twenty percent of all profits from the bailout will slide into goodwill agencies via the Housing Trust Fund.
The Fund has been manipulated by Congressional Dems. For example, ACORN has got some of that money.
And what is the rotter core of ACORN?
This so-called "community organization of low-and moderate-income families that addresses housing, schools, neighborhood safety, health care, job conditions" and so forth sounds American apple pie.
ACORN, further, has a national membership rostered at 350,000 with 850 neighborhood conclaves in more than a hundred cities, not only in the US but Argentina, Canada, Mexico and Peru.
Wade Rathke, George Wiley and Gary Delgado founded ACORN in 1970.
Why not....we need a leader with a voice of conservatism to bring us all together....I wish I could go on Sunday.
I am really sick of what is going on in Washington. Where is our voice? I will join you and maybe thats what it will take a date, a poster or two and two voices in front of the stinken white house!!! I will be damned if ACORN gets my money!!!
Lock and load, grab the torches and pitch forks. If this goes thru with monies diverted to Acorn and other leftist groups no less than burning down Washington is called for.
Let me know when its time to use the Second Amendment in its original intent.
Dusting my boots off now getting ready to march.
Gee, what a revelation to behold...
As Rome burns.
Vote for ACORN and we quit paying our taxes.
No need to burn. We’d be fighting a civil war against the liberals.
How hard can that be.
They don’t even like guns.
ARE the Asian markets what they are REALLY worried about,or is it that Rush,Hannity, etal. won’t be back on the air until Monday?
If Acorn stays in this legislation,it will be open season on every congresscritter who votes in favor of this Bill.
Rush,Hannity, etal. will have almost 5 weeks to educate the public.
Heck, I remember when RATs could buy a vote for a pack of smokes.
How times have changed
Change comes at a cost, thus liberal minded folks salivate with the prospect of change.
Take the bait and live without freedom.
And if the Dems push this bill through wirh the ACORN swindle in it, I don’t expect Bush to veto it.
IMO, Bush has been a huge disappointment in many ways.
McConnell, Judd Gregg and John McCain better get the message that one thin dime for ACORN spells disaster in Nov if they allow this to be enacted without a filibuster - at minimum.
The fight between socialism and anarchy.
Not an appealing prospect for personal contentment in a free nation.
Correction - they don't like US to have guns. They want them all to theirselves, the annointed ones!
I don’t carew about the liberals, it’s the supposed conservatives that concern me. I think burnning it down (metaphorically speaking) may be the only solution. All od those huge gobment buildings will only get filled back up with the next round of bureaucrats.
Your opinion of Congress and those who voted for the present seater's within would be greatly appreciated.
Was Rod Carew a liberal 2nd baseman for the Twins? ~snort
Talk about all hands on deck!
IF THEY SIGN THIS BILL AND ACORN IS ON IT WE WILL NEED PEOPLE TO MEET IN WASHINGTON TO HOLD SIGNS OF NAMES THAT SIGNED ON TO THIS!!!! WE NEED TO PROTEST. IT MAY COST YOU TWO DAYS OF LEAVE BUT WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING. CAN WE START A LIST OF NAMES TO MEET IN WASHINGTON?
