Obama Campaign Tells TV Stations Not to Run NRA TV Ads

In this letter sent this week to TV station managers from Obama campaign general counsel Bob Bauer, obtained by ABC News, the Obama campaign argues that a TV ad by the National Rifle Association should not air.

"Unlike federal candidates, independent political organizations do not have a 'right to command the use of broadcast facilities,'" Bauer writes. "Moreover, you have a duty 'to protect the public from false, misleading or deceptive advertising.'"

The Obama campaign takes issue with an ad called "Hunter," pointing out that claims in the ad were called "false" by Factcheck.org, and was given three Pinocchios by the Washington Post's "Factchecker."

America needs to wake up!

The MSM as Fifth Column is THE major factor of why things are spinning as they are.

I need NO further proof of the MSM’s complicity in this Marxist coup other than their silence over a most disturbing story: the chilling of the First Amendment by the NObama campaign.

How dare the MSM not forcefully report the attempts to have people in Missouri arrested for expressing anti-obama ideas

How dare the MSM not jump all over Nobama threats against the NRA and TV stations for running anti-obama ads.

If the MSM will not oppose and expose actions of a campaign that repress First Amendment freedoms, then they will never come out of the tank.

This is the issue that needs to be exposed by the 527 and Mccain ads this next month. Such ads will not only attack and expose the pro-Marxist/pro-facsist BS spewed by the MSM, but will also show how dangerous Nobama is for this country.

No, but radio and TV sations have a right to play the spots produced by any paying customer. That's how they make their bread and butter.

Check the the link, "Obama Campaign Threaten Legal Action Over NRA Ads," in comment# 37. The ad hasn't run in Ohio yet, IIRC. It's just bullying from the left in PA & MO so far, nothing new.
