'The View' is a vapid, blatantly leftist TV show, supposedly 'for women', that stacks the deck against the sole conservative panelist. Why Elisabeth Hasselbeck hangs on there is a mystery, unless she is a masochist who likes being shouted down and mocked by a bunch of shrews like the terminally crass, painfully ignorant Whoopie Goldberg and the abrasive, excruciatingly unfunny 'comedian' Joy Behar along with the condescending doyen of the group, Barbra (BaBa) Walters, now 79 years old and probably as rich as Croesus.

Low-achievers such as Goldberg and Behar calling Governor Sarah Palin names and disparaging her intelligence is just wealthy New York lefties preaching to a like-minded choir - on TV. Any halfway independent and intelligent woman isn't going to be swayed by the uninformed, cookie-cutter, anti-Palin opinions of these ignorant leftists parroting the DNC talking points as if they actually harbored an original thought. Rather, all the Palin-bashing has probably hurt the Democrats more than they realize. Don't tell them.

During Thursday night's V.P. debate with the hapless Joe Biden, Governor Sarah Palin has a golden opportunity to do what Ronald Reagan did in 1980. She can not only 'win' the debate but equally crucial, show the uninformed and undecided voters that she is not some backwoods, bible-thumping, repressive idiot the media have desperately tried to portray, but an accomplished, intelligent and compassionate woman, capable and ready to be Vice President of the United States. If she can do that, the McCain/Palin ticket will win the election in November, despite all the leftist mud-slinging and gratuitous insults they've unfairly hurled at Governor Palin. "The View' will return to being a vapid, leftist-oriented TV show with a gaggle of left-wing shrews spouting nonsense.

I assume that Elisabeth Hasselbeck will then accept the rumored Fox News gig and free herself from the mean-spirited stupidity she has to endure on 'The View'. If McCain-Palin are elected, Elisabeth will be much happier at Fox because the hags at 'The View' will be even more hostile and insufferable, if that is possible.

Yesterday I was unfortunate enough to be working in a house where the housewife was watching it as I worked and I asked myself a similar question. How can she sit there and listen to this BS. Oh, and BTW they had Bill Mahr on touting his new anti religion movie.

I had never even seen the show until yesterday, other than out takes that made news. Didn’t want to or need to as I knew it was load of crap.
