WASHINGTON (CNN) -- In the face of an economy in crisis and a deeply unpopular president, some analysts believe the situation is ripe to give Democrats a 60-seat filibuster-proof majority in the Senate in November. Analysts say Democrats may control the Senate after the November election. Analysts say Democrats may control the Senate after the November election. It's "the perfect storm," said Stuart Rothenberg, editor of the nonpartisan Rothenberg Political Report.

One of the first acts nobama will try is purging the clintons and all their supporters from the rat party. And anyone who thinks that will happen easily just isn’t paying attention. The clintons have the disciplined troops to fight, while nobama has a screaming mob. The fascist federal bureaucracy is committed to the clintons and will not support or share their looted treasures with the communist nobama and his johnny-come-lately Marxists.

That’s where the major fights will take place. Nobama and his racist gang won’t even get across the bridges and into DC.

That’s where offshore servers come in. And nothing to stop anyone from doing videos and podcasts and spreading them around. Just make sure none of your fingerprints are on it.

The pump is primed for disaster anyway, and they have no clue how to avoid it.

Yup, about have come to the same conclusion.

A McCain POTUS against a filibuster proof Senate and a large majority in the house means more extreme partisan politics at this in time in history we need the politic body to work together for the greater good of America.

McCain won't be able to stop the radical socialist wing of the rat party and it's full steam ahead for socialism and fascism light

Sometimes a train wreck needs to happen to get things straightened out and rebuilt on the right principles.

A Obama POTUS, Congress totally controlled by Dems leaves no room for passing the buck to the GOP for the coming train wreck in the next 12 months

David Vitter is not vulnerable. He will be re-elected in Louisiana unless he loses in the primary to a better Republican. His district is safely conservative.

I don’t believe that for a minute - this country doesn’t want socialism, they’re only going to get Barack Hussein Obama elected if ACORN cheats enough. They don’t have the numbers, legally.

Yes, things went sour for LBJ, but it was because of Vietnam, not the 89th Congress and "The Great Society". Those things ruined the country. We are still living with their legacy today.

My point is we can't afford to hand over the Republic to a Marxist like Obama for even two years. The kind of damage that can be done by liberals running wild and unchecked for even just two years will take decades for conservatives to clean up, even if they somehow manage to regain power in a system that will likely be rigged to elect liberals for the rest of our lifetimes (not to mention the USSC).

Did I miss something? Was there an election today and the Republicans were removed from office? Why are we walking around as if we've already accepted defeat? Don't believe what you're reading in the media. Of course they're in the tank for Obama. What's new?

This is their last election cycle with any kind of power at all. Look at all the "dinosaur media" posts. They're losing their grip.

Chins up! It'll be okay. No, really, it will.

Obama is FAR more radical than any Dem president to date. He *will* cause lasting harm to the liberal cause.

And the country is going to shift left no matter what. Have you been listening to McCain?

Better to let them take the hit for what’s coming.

No. We will not lose another 3 or 4 Senate seats in 2010 - We will easily defend MO, FL and NC seats - And the DEMs have a number of very vulnerable seats up in 10 and 12 -

Good analysis. This election cycle represents a crossroads in that it will seal our path towards a Western European socialist style economy. Corporations want to socialize the risk and cost of doing business so they can compete in the world economy. Voters want cradle to grave health care, subsidized housing, and subsidized incomes because if a select group of minorities have it, why should not they? Americans are worried about the economy, and will grab on to any demagogue that promises to relieve those worries with no effort on their part.
