This is a list of things I personally miss so far since being in Iraq. I'm sure I won't remember them all so please feel free to add your own.
God bless you and keep you safe and thank you for your service!
What about beer?
Thank you so much for the hardships you endure, for US. Thanks, thanks, thanks. I hope the rest of us won’t dissapoint you folks, but succeed in preventing a traitor democr*p goosestepping to power.
God bless you Sir. Thank you is not enough, but it is from the bottom of my heart.
Keep your head down. I solute you for your service.
God Bless & Thank you..
We’ll take care of defeating Obama for you FRiend, we’re going to take him out in a landslide, he will never be your CIC.
I myself do not drink but I know of LOTS of guys here who miss real beer. We have the near beer but I’m told it isn’t near enough.
My wife bought a hot new nightgown and although that might not be good news for you it’s a jim dandy deal for this boy!
“I love America, and am grateful to have been born in this beautiful country. As life goes on, my love for America and all Americans increases. Every human being should be respected, born and unborn, American or not. But we Americans carry the truth of freedom in our hearts, and I am so proud of my countrymen, who risk so much, and suffer much, to share the gift we have been given.”
This is from Urbane Guerilla’s page. You are the personification of what he writes. Thank you for carrying the truth of freedom in your heart and for risking so much and suffering so much that we may enjoy our freedom and to share it as a gift with others.

G-d bless you, and keep you safe. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
Thank you for your service sir!
This just occurred. Let’s try something. I trust you’ll read this thread and see this reply. I ask you now to do something: please say to two other American military members that One American Citizen said to say, “Thanks, and I salute you for what you’re doing and for what you are sacrificing.” And tell those two to each tell two others. It doesn’t matter who. Any two. And that they should spread this thanks onward the same way. That way it will be a voice, not an email, and they’ll hear it with their own ears, and maybe it will fan out to many ears and be meaningful. My name matters not at all. I’m just One American Citizen who is grateful to you. Pass it on. Move out. William, US Army, R.V.N. 6/67 to 6/68

Thank you so much for your sacrifices. Our thoughts and prayers are and will be for your and your brothers in service safe and healthy returns to happy, loving families.
Words from a stranger can never replace what you miss, but I hope you can accept my respect and appreciation for your defense of our freedoms.
Sincerely,
Tom
I was just thinking about you today. Not you personally, of course— :o) —but thinking about our troops serving in Iraq. We are so wrapped up with the election and financial woes that not much attention has been paid to you fine folks.
I’ll keep you (this time personally) in my thoughts and prayers until you’re home and safe in the arms of your wife and surrounded by those you love. In the meantime, hang in there.
P.S. THANK YOU.
