This past weekend I saw Brian Wilson on Fox.
He has spent several days on the ground in battleground states talking to people.
When he would speak to undecided voters, he would press them saying if you had to decide with an arm twist at this moment ....8 out of 10 said McCain.

Yes, in his own way, McCain opened up lots of opportunities for discussion, comparison and decisions. Very simply - McCain does not want to cut anybody’s taxes, Obama wants tax increases. This and the spending issues are very big opportunities for the experts to analyze and compare. Obama does not benefit from this kind of scrutiny!
I tell you another point on a different subject. McCain ignited the Pro-life Movement. He is strongly Pro-Life and Obama is strongly Pro-Abortion, not choice. This troubles lots of people of conscience in this country. McCain laid down some very substantial items of difference and for analysis. This works to McCain’s benefit - it will put Obama on the defensive over the next 20 days. McCain can win this!

My family owns part of a small business, too. My brother (the manager) has already been having to weigh whom to let go if BO is elected. It's so sad.

I think you are correct. We have to believe that our conservative beliefs are the dominant philosphy, and what Senator McCain did tonight was give us a reason to vote FOR him rather than just AGAINST Obama.
