PRAYER FOR THE NATION

Our Father and Our God,

We praise You for Your goodness to
our nation, giving us blessings far
beyond what we deserve.

Yet we know all is not right with America.
We deeply need a moral and spiritual renewal
to help us meet the many problems we face.

Convict us of sin. Help us to turn to You in
repentance and faith. Set our feet on the
path of Your righteousness and peace.

We pray today for our nation's leaders.
Give them the wisdom to know what
is right, and the courage to do it.

You have said, "Blessed is the nation whose
God is the LORD." May this be a new era
for America, as we humble ourselves
and acknowledge You alone as
our Savior and Lord.

This we pray in Your holy name, Amen.

Prayer for Members of the Israel Defense Force

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our God from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea. May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor. May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your God, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you. Now let us respond: Amen.

Prayer for the Welfare of the Government

He Who grants salvation to kings and dominion to rulers, Whose kingdom is a kingdom spanning all eternities; Who releases David, His servant, from the evil sword; Who places a road in the sea and a path in the mighty waters - may He bless the President, the Vice President, and all the constituted officers of government of this land. The King Who reigns over kings, in His mercy may He sustain them and protect them; from every trouble, woe and injury, may He rescue them; and put into their heart and into the heart of all their counselors compassion to do good with us and with all Israel, our brethern. You know what I found out recently speaking of Chia Pet nobody has told Chia Pet his health failing how combat diabetes see in NortH korea their medicine kinda backward they don’t tell diabetic you need insulin I am serious

“How is hubby doing, and your soldier boy?”

Hubby is recovering, at a slower pace than he’d like but recovering all the same!

Soldier boy is well, he was “coined” this week by the battalion XO, so that was good.

Younger son is frustrated because he went turkey hunting twice so far and hasn’t even had a shot at one. On the other hand, he did get a coyote! Said he “trained it to lie down”!

Camporee just completed
13 Scout Units
69 Youth
27 Staff (Men, Women, Young Adult Volunteers all Order of the Arrow Scouts)
29 Adults spread throughout the 13 Units (Moms as well as Dads)
2 Food Service NCOs from the Army Brigade Dining Facility Judging the Iron-Scout Cooking Contest.
