Within hours of Joe the Plumber confronting Barack Obama on his open promise of socialism, Joe the Plumber was viciously thrust onto the international scene, becoming an example of just what happens to any average red blooded American who dares to question the making of the socialist “messiah” Obama.
Twenty four hours after Joe made his way through the crowd of Obamabots in front of his home to ask the most relevant question of the 2008 election, he found himself the target of brutal Obama campaign war room character assassins. Within moments, the world learned more about Joe the Plumber than eighteen months of “new media” investigations had uncovered about Obama, while the mainstream media ran interference.
Obama’s war room launched a full-scale character assassination on Joe, - “he’s not a plumber” – “he has a tax lien” – “he only makes $20,000 a year and is in no position to purchase his bosses failing plumbing company” – “he’s a McCain plant” – “his name is not Joe...”
Meanwhile, Obama’s life remains a laundry list of dirty secrets!

Eventually, there will come that golden moment when someone, somewhere places Obama in same position as Joseph McCarthy when he was asked, “Sir, have you no shame?”
Pride goeth before the fall, and all that. Joe the Plumber is just one of many people who will begin to aggressively question Obama. Obama may still get elected, but that won’t stop the tragedy of his hubris and self-importance undermining his leadership.
As I saw with Hilary, I can imagine after several years of messianic proclamations that this man will be sitting in the oval office shouting orders that everyone ignores, begging a Congress for legislation that never arrives, and telling his aides to go after this person and that without it ever getting accomplished, while his adoring media acolytes spin furiously in wonderment about what exactly went wrong.
The good news is that we’ll have a (one-quarter) black president, and we can finally shut up about “the importance of race in this contest,” or any contest, for that matter, and elect someone who will actually lead with American values.
