YouTube has been hijacked by the Obama campaign
self | 10/30/08 | conservative libertarian

For quite some time now, I have noticed that whenever I enter "Sarah Palin" on YouTube, I get almost exclusively attack videos against her. It is almost impossible to perform a search and find her speaking at a rally.

It is shocking to see how many resources the Obama campaign is throwing into this aspect of the race, to make Sarah Palin look as bad as possible. It also shows that they are very scared of the impact she has and will have on the electorate, both now and after the election (hopefully as Vice President).

If any of you know any way to filter out the negative ads and get to some information as opposed to the negative attack videos, please post a response for all to see.

Keep on campaigning - victory is within our grasp!

Great idea! We can FReep polls, we can FReep Digg, and we can FReep Youtube. It would appear that our activist opportunities keep growing by the day.

Google owns youtube. Google CEO openly campaigning for obama.

This is why getting DIGG going on FR is so important. DIGG is huge and FR needs to direct traffic to the users. Go to DIGG and search for Palin....you’ll find the most repulsive articles on the net all being viewed by millions daily. This has to change.

Ya know, I have to wonder how effective those ant-Palin vids really are. We’ve seen this kind of thing before from the Left, in both 2000 and 2004, where they produced a lot of inflammatory stuff that appealed mainly to their far left base, and wasn’t much good for changing any serious voter’s mind.

70% or more of what I see posted on YouTube is a waste of bandwidth anyway.

google is a company. people are liberal. in this case of Youtube I think we’re dealing a lot of liberal individuals uploading and watching liberal videos than someone at the top doing something. I am not sure how a change in ownership translates into what was described.

Bump! Bump! And Bump! I like your attitude...opportunities abound and we can push McCain over the finish line, hopefully with a landslide!

Hmm... last I checked it was still full of lesbian videos and scantily clad Asians giving each other massages.

Maybe that’s just due to my search terms...

The anti-Palin ads are effective. Go speak with a couple of Palin haters and tell me how much different they are then the negative videos on the net...or Letterman, Stewart, etc.....they are spoon fed drones eating up every negative tidbit.

If your CEO was openly supporting a candidate and he found out you were strong Palin conservative......trust me, he don’t like you. It’s a hostile work environment IMO if you have to worry about your political views when you walk in the door.
