We need all hands to jump on this ASAP. Major Freep Mon 11-3-08. Please spread fast. (We're getting friendly media coverage and bloggers galore.)Here's a partial press release:
"Conga the LA Times" Monday, November 3, 2008 9AM NOON
FreedomMarch.org is continuing the LA Times protest to inspire the newspaper to finally release its Khalidi-Obama video. Senator Obama was allegedly taped toasting former PLO spokesperson, Rashid Khalidi. Please join us for an hour, or all three, to demand that the LA Times fully disclose all information regarding presidential candidate Barack Obama.
"Conga the LA Times" Monday, Nov 3, 2008 9AM - NOON. Bring your own flags, cameras, and signs. Travel via Metrolink is recommended.
LA Times HQ 202 West 1st St. Los Angeles, CA 90012
The Los Angeles Times withheld vital character information regarding former Senator and presidential candidate, John Edwards. It's doing the same thing again with Barack Obama.
Join us to demand that the LA Times release the Khalidi-Obama video.

The message has to be VERY clear, and precise.WHY are we protesting the L.A. Times?Beacuse they are hiding a videotape that could hurt Obama.EVERYTHING else is secondary, and dilutes our focus.
Our message was apparently NOT as "clear and precise" as it SHOULD have been, at the early stages of our FIRST FReep. :(
As I posted on a PREVIOUS thread:
To: Steve Van DoornI did not see the cameras from Fox at our FReep, but they could have been there. They might have used some of the early videos posted on YouTube.Put on FOXNews Channel.
The Fox & Friends Show is covering the L.A. Times protest (yesterday), but any sign that is explicitly about Freeing the Khalidi tape FOX has blurred the title for.
I could only read 1/20 of the signs and they all said things like If you dont report, how can we decide? and 2008, The Year Journalism Died, etc.
None of the signs written about freeing the tape were allowed to be read by TV audience.
In any event, they must have shown footage from the FIRST FReep -- at 10 am, where the signs WERE a little "off target" -- so it might not necessarily be any nefarious editing from FoxNEWS.
We had less press coverage at the SECOND FReep -- at 3 pm, but MANY more "on target" signs.
At least those "new and improved" signs got into the video Jeffers did -- for popmodal.
Got this announcement to PUMAs...LOL!and they sent it along to Puma PACs Southern California membership!
Hopefully, they too, will be out in big numbers to help!
Thank you, blondee123!Speaking of PUMAs, check out THIS wonderful image, from pumapac.org:

Way to go Puma PAC!!!
LGF reader cblesz went to the [first] protest at the LA Times building this morning, and reports that there were about 150 people there......and that LA Times staffers were watching from the windows, smirking and laughing at the protesters.
The LAT is well aware of this.Sorry, nobama08!
I did not mean to address that post to you, in particular.I have been cutting and pasting the best parts of our PREVIOUS "L.A. Times FReep" threads into THIS one -- and your post happened to be the one that I linked that last one to.
No malice intended. :(
There, I added the US: California topic for you. Thanks, nralife!
I’m going to have to file a complaint.
Could someone run over to FM.org and snag the cartoon I made and post here, pls? I don’t know how, and after 18 hrs today, my thinkolater is fried.
1. FreedomMarch.org is mostly updated. Have a look. See the Action Center too.
2. PUMAs are working hard with us.
3. We’re going to FREEP the livin veegeebers outta LA Times and the NATION.
Don’t miss Mon. It’s history.
I’m down for a few hrs. Thanks all!
Take the transportation, Metro?EXCELLENT idea, savvyguy!since hard to park.
Parking (and traffic!) is ALWAYS a pain in downtown L.A. -- particularly on a MONDAY morning, at RUSH HOUR!But, you can park for FREE at one of the Metro "Park and Ride" lots, and take the train to Pershing Square...
...which is just a few short blocks away from the L.A. Times building.
We have many more drivers honk than give us the one finger.
Metro is a good idea for Monday.
They’ll try to arrest us if we attempt to go in. They have zero sense of humor there. Was it something we said?
Marching the Times is soooo much fun, everyone has to come. You’ll regret not being there.
Thanks!
Could someone run over to FM.org and snag the cartoon I made and post here, pls? From www.freedommarch.org:
Thanks Ron. I made that silly cartoon at 4:00AM this morning.
...you can park for FREE at one of the Metro "Park and Ride" lots, and take the train to Pershing Square...From www.metro.net/riding_metro:
Park and Ride locations are everywhere in LA County. Many locations provide free parking. Most are adjacent to Metro Rail stations, bus transitways or Metro Rapid service for quick connections to the high speed commuting network. Carpool and Vanpool connections are also easier when freeway-adjacent Park and Ride lots are used.
Click here to view the Park and Ride lots county-wide, or click here for Park and Ride lots adjacent to Metro Rail service.
They’re going to yuckin it up real good on Mon then.
I want to shut them down as a message to all the goofball media out there.
I’ll bring some LA Times pinatas, and we can smack the stuffin out of them with American flags.
Thanks Ron.De nada.I made that silly cartoon at 4:00AM this morning.
It certainly DOES get the message across, though!Jeffers and I are working on a more SERIOUS metaphor than a "Conga" line -- but it follows the same principle.More on THAT -- soon...
We deserve to see that Frickin tape. They shafted the country on Edwards, they shafted Hillary, and now they’re trying to do it to us all again!
I’m done with this kind of BS. I’m bringing signs that say,
“This will cost you MILLIONS if not your entire operation.”
Let’s see how they laugh then. The National Enquirer is a more reliable publication.
Ill bring some LA Times pinatas...ANOTHER great idea!...and we can smack the stuffin out of them with American flags.
And, with a few slight modifications, they would fit in PERFECTLY with our alternative metaphor...
Their response was predictable, and it’s because they know they can weather this storm.
I don’t want to dissuade anyone from attending this event, but everyone needs to learn how to use leverage:
1. If you have a blog, write about this topic and put the name of someone involved in the title of the post.
2. Urge major bloggers to help in the (as of now failed) campaign to get people to go to BHO’s events and ask him to call for the tape’s release:
http://24ahead.com/blog/archives/008264.html
Im bringing signs that say,I understand your passion. This will cost you MILLIONS if not your entire operation.
But we want something that people can read from passing cars, like THIS message:
