I don’t mean to suggest the SC is where the challenge happens — it happens in Congress.... sorry for the confusion.
I am not going to freak out if Tuesday doesn’t go our way.
Remember: it is electors from the states that elects a President. It is the states who have the ultimate standing. Sadly, I think it not likely that the correct case will come to the SCOTUS for not a single SOS in any state has brought forth a demand for proof of eligibility. Instead they have accepted a fraudulent certification of nomination.
In that regard, what this thread is pointing out is significant. For without verification, said certification IMO constitutes felony fraud.
Less than 48 hours!!! One final push to save the U.S.A.!
The challenge:
Between NOW and election day, convince at least two Obama/Undecided voters to vote for McCain. (family, neighbors, friends, people waiting in the check-out line) Further, convince these two people (or two others) to take up the same challenge. (Like a chain letter)
So you have converted people in the past? Good, but we need more!
Many Obama supporters are mindlessly supporting him, with no real reason, this means it is VERY easy to get them to switch over. Even if you fail, other Obama/undecideds may be in the room and hear valid arguments and question their faith in the One.
Don’t kick yourself a week from now saying “I could’ve done more....”

I never did see the McCain issue as legitimate- he was born out of the country because his father was stationed there in the military. To me there should have been no question about his status- made me mad at the time it was made an issue.
It wasn’t just the poster bringing up the McCain issue that got me riled, the sniping by a newbie at other posters doesn’t set well with me. Newbies that are not trolls usually read more, post less, and above all don’t try to antagonize other posters with smart a$$ remarks.

Not in Florida....they suggested the Department of Justice...haven’t heard a word from that agency.

For the record, what is your source for that assertion? I have seen nothing to indicate that the Rats formally provided any evidence of eligibility including proof of age. If either was provided, when and where? This thread can be a record of that event.
One of my purposes in this thread was to allow FReepers to actually see what takes place as the process. To my astonishment, the lawyer for the Tennessee election Commission actually provided a real document. It does not appear to shed any real light on the eligibility but does apparently indicate how the candidates are provided to the controlling state authorities.
I don’t see them swearing that the candidates met the qualifications to be president.
The Rats tried to get Berg's lawsuit thrown out. They could have satisfied Berg's demand by releasing the original birth certificate to the Judge in that case. they did not, and relied on the Judge to throw out Berg's case in Pennsylvania on other grounds.

that question has been posed and there have been several answers and many more questions posted.
So Far, the most logical explanation I’ve seen Free Republic is that the Constitution has eligibility requirements to be elected. It does not say anything about being nominated or voted on by the people voting for electors. The electors apparently have the duty to make the determination. Further, until a candidate is actually elected, there is no legal remedy.
I can’t provide any evidence that statement is true. Part of the reason for this thread is to seek validation.
The certificate of live birth I am referring to is the one posted at factcheck.org. It is not the original long hospital produced birth certificate, but a recent transcript printed with a subset of the informattion that would appear on a long form birth certificate, or vault copy. I don't know if the Democrats have a long form copy in their possession - they could.
......can anybody here imagine Chief Justice John Roberts and his conservative brothers on the Court sitting back on Tuesday night and saying, “Oh, drat!”......
Then there is a later date, and a positive action required by the Chief Justice, namely swearing in at the inauguration.
Is it kosher for the Chief Justice to ask prior to the swearing, on the Capitol steps in front of the world “sir can you provide a certificate of birth proving compliance with the requirements of the Constitution?”
