As a grammer cops, it's my duty to point out that the proper usage is "What AN asshole. Three errors in your "correction". It should be: "As a grammar cop" and "what 'an' assole" not "what 'AN' asshole".

KGO has the most vial host in talk radio. This type of anger is actually rather normal for them. Especially for the early morning host which I can barely pick up way up here in the Puget Sound. The only thing different is the death threat and the f-bomb.
