All you need to do is say Jimmuh Carter II and it will all make sense to you.

I’m going to repeat this a lot tonight.

1- It ain’t over til it’s over.
2- Even when it’s over, it ain’t over.
3- There will be lawsuits, I hope, due to ACORN and other voting irregularities. All we can hope for is Honest Judges.
4- We had to live through Jimmy Carter to get to Ronald Reagan, and we can live through 4 years of Barry Obama to get to the likes of Sarah Palin.
5- WE became too complacent and we didn’t start the VETTING process soon enough or with enough vigor. EVEN IF WE SOMEHOW PULL OUT A WIN THIS TIME, the Socialist-Marxists will STILL think they can overpower us in 4-more-years. If they win this time, the American Public will get so ticked off at Democrats that they won’t have a chance in the White House for at least another 16-20 years (the length of a person’s recall).
6- IF Barry Obama wins, we still hammer at our Congresspeople regularly and vigorously. We send emails, we send snail mails, we keep up with CSpan and everything going on in Congress. AND we watch what our various States are doing.
7- WE have got to stay political. It’s no longer just a game, it is Survival. We Can Live Through 4 Years Of Barry Obama.
8- No matter what he promised, he’s got nearly a Trillion Dollars in Bail Out on His Plate and he will ultimately be responsible for what happens with that, not George W Bush. And WE need to make sure, with letters to the editors, that the Public is made aware of just whose responsibility it is. And we also need to play “devil’s advocate” when he proclaims that he “can’t” do something he promised to do while running for President. WE need to remind the lemmings that Obama promised . . . and now he’s reneging. So what else did he LIE about?
9- WE have the advantage over an Obama Presidency. We know what’s going on and he is clueless. USE IT to our advantage. Inundate his office with letters and emails for every mistake he makes, for every misstep he makes. Call him on his errors and Quote History Books.
10- WE know how to use the Internet to our advantage! And we will do so. Maybe an Obama Presidency is just what WE need to shake us up and make us get serious about the USofA.

Now, lock and load and be vigilant. And don’t nobody try to take my State Retirement away from me.

That’s exactly what I am thinking. Either take the first ex-pat deal my husband can get or just downsize to bare essentials. I own two modest homes, I could probably sell one and live modestly in one. Problem is I have kids. If it weren’t for the kids, I’d drop out completely. I won’t watch my husband get grey hair working for the dem’s socialist utopia.

I’d agree with you, if we weren’t importing the entire 3rd World and turning into some South American style country.

If you had told me in 1988 that in 20 short years, we would be electing a socialist foreigner as president, I would’ve looked at you like you were from another planet.

Yeah, I would say, "you're talking crazier than Margot Kidder on my front lawn." B-D At the very least, you've been reading too much future dystopia books. Well, here we are.

Conservatives need to form a new party period.

This is as true today as it was a month ago.

So where do we start? Is it better to start a new party from scratch or ... ?

Let’s get real here. McCain was neck and neck with Obama and in fact in some polls ahead before the economy tanked. When it tanked his numbers dropped like a lead weight. Blame the chicken sh%ts on Wall Street who were selling off their stocks as if there was no tomorrow. They panicked and handed this election to Obama.

Call for a new party, a real CONSERVATIVE party NOW. Can we, finally abandon this sinking ship?

I'll go along with that. I'm not sure any of the field in the primary could've swung this election. A real conservative with energy and vision could've. Conservatism always wins, when it's not pandering.

Do you really need that new car, the flat screen, the satellite TV service? Do you really need a big house and big house payments and big tax bills? Do you really need to put in 60 hours a week at a W-4 salary job, or can you get by working for cash and living modestly and frugally on your savings?

Who is John Galt?

I'm considering that, I'm between jobs now but have a good chance at taking a basic job in an auto parts store or one similar. I'm going to keep it, work hard, make enough to take care of Mom and my cats plus keep my old jalopy running. That way, I pay as little as I can in taxes. I live frugally, my TV is 26 years old, I have the first playstation and none of my computers are made past 1999. I do admit I think Ayn Rand is a little too absolutist but she does have a lot of wisdom where people can only take so much. Who is John Galt?

Whites voted for him because of his race, particularly young Whites and among young Whites particularly young White women.

I’m sorry to say that, but it’s true. That is the demographic that put Obama into the White House.

The Hiphop culture in America had a huge impact upon the election. He has done nothing and said nothing substantive which would qualify him to be the leader of the free world.

He’s Black, he’s articulate and he has a nice smile.

That’s it. Welcome to the White House Mr. President.

All I can say is stand tall and don’t forget a country cannot survive under Socialism and the welfare state.

Also don’t forget that minorities and people of color voted 90% + for race while Whites gave both candidates a chance and the White vote was divided. He will represent the people who voted for him more than the people who did not vote for him, and that is very much divided along racial lines.

Don’t forget it.

I emigrated here over 40 years ago to get away from Socialism! Now I’m going to be right back in it, way worse than the U.K. was at the time a left. Never thought I would see it here.

I hear ya. Hubby and I are discussing tonight how we can retire early. There's really no point any more to keep on working just to support others (assuming we'll have enough for our basic necessities - ammo, food, and tractor supplies)

Maybe it’s time for republicans to pull their money out of the markets and let the dems wallow in their own feces. As long as we have the money, we still have power. Pull it out of the market and stuff it under a mattress!! Lets start NOW!!

The individual Republicans with enough money in the stock markets to make a large difference are mostly the ones to thank for creating this nightmare to start with. They like tax cuts that's it. On everything else they are as much a Liberal as the Big O or except enough of their policy that it gets pushed through.

They are the ones who took over the GOP in 1995 and began the road to the GOPs losses starting with Dole in 1996. There is no way to weed them out. Only thing left to do is abandon THEIR PARTY and let them slug it out with the DEMs. In the mean time Conservatives need to start preparing a Whigging for the GOP. With the GOP LIBERAL Party & DEMs going at each others throats a Conservative new party could get a foot hold in. With today's mass communication capabilities there is no reason it can't happen. Four years of Obama and this nation should be begging for a Conservative Party over the DEMs and GOP's Rockefeller re-runs. It's Time!

Goodbye stock market.

I figure it will tank again tomorrow, make up all the gains from today.

I'm leaving my money out. Since the dems are talking about eliminating 401Ks and can now do it (in Jan), the market will be on shaky ground.
