I think that the best place to lay the blame for last nights debacle is the U.S Dept of Education. 40 years worth of liberal non-education has paid off for the loony left. I'll bet that out of those 60 million voters that chose the left yesterday, not one in 10 thousand could accurately define socialism. Well, we are about to have to learn about it the hard way.
Even if you count his 18 million vote and Hillary’s 18 million votes from the primaries, I’m still not getting how you come up with another 30 million. Were there that many new voters?

Mapmaker-you are so right-THe brainwashing of teachers and students and the poorly written and biased history in the “Social Studies” books is and has been appalling and “the chickens have come home to roost”. We are reaping what has been sown in the systems of indoctrination. And I now understand how Nazi Germany happened.

When you go look at the North Carolina results, you will see that “Straight Party” Democrat votes accounted for most of the votes. This translates to
the dumb masses following blindly and marking one spot on their ballots. This election was bought, if it wasn’t actually stolen.

I cannot understand why “Republicans” think voters will vote for a fake, welfare state supporting, special interest pandering, half-ass Rino/Democrat when they can have the real thing by voting democrat.
We already have one democrat party.
If the Republican party doesn’t stand for anything other than being “Democrat Lite” they may as well disband.
Republicans who want to govern like democrats should just change parties - they will be more comfortable and the Republican party can return to the principles of small government, reduced spending, respecting and enforcing the law and promoting traditional American values.

You forget all the illegals that are here. Demographics are against us, and the libtards know that. Mark my words, one of the first major acts of Hussein the Marxist will be to legalize the 20,000,000 illegals that are here, make them citizens, and register them as Democrats. And those “new citizens” will vote overwhelmingly for the party of their “savior.”
The Dems outpaced Republican turnout 39%-33%, and the white vote, which is usually around 80% of the vote and votes 55%+ Republican, hit what was likely an all time low of 75% last night.
Looking at those numbers, one would assume that the Dems just swamped our side last night, but given the rather underwhelming turnout, that assumption appears wrong. Taking that into account, I think it strongly suggests that some conservatives just didn’t bother.

Smart move. But, you realize that a Hussein the Marxist administration and its eager camp followers in Congress will penalize and punish you for doing that, don’t you? Your taxes are going to be raised to such an extent that you won’t be able to afford to send your kid to private school; and, believe me, they will make homeschooling illegal, as they are already talking about doing that.
I’m afraid that nothing short of a revolution can save the United States now.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you on all fronts. There are so many people my age (my sister included who voted for 0) that think socialism and communism are good things that are “new” and haven’t been tried before. I wish I was kidding but this is the BS so many college professors shove down our throats (somehow, I stood up against it and survived). I also agree as far as their three goals:
1. crush dissent, 2. destroy “unfavorable” industry, 3. don’t press on our enemies but readjust things to invade Pakistan

Absolutely, positively, 1000% right on the money. The investment they made in the dumbing down of America that started in the 60’s will be paying off for them electorally for generations to come. In fact, “our” America may never recover. Despite FRs plaintive cries in the wilderness, America slept - and they took over.
American kids have been taught to despise education, and “feelings” became paramount. Where feelings are paramount, science and math is junk.

John Kerry received 59 million
Total votes of 121 million
According to the numbers Drudge has on his website...
Obama has 62.5 million votes
McCain has 55.5 million votes
Total votes of 118 million
McCain received 6.5 million less votes than GWB
If McCain had those 6.5 million votes the popular vote would have been basically tied.
To me it looks as though we had 2 problems...
1. McCain was not the best candidate
2. Our GOTV was not what it was 4 years ago...part of that may have been because of having McCain as the candidate.
Most of the "old school" teachers are now retired or have moved into private sectors. Those who are classroom teachers now are products of the public school system and of the liberal institutions that "trained" them. We are now looking at at least two generations that have been trained in Government schools. Why wouldn't they defend the only system they know and are permitted to use in their classrooms? History is now taught as Social Studies. Math and Reading are taught using methods that create ADD and cognitive dissonance in a vast number of our young children,primarily boys. Etc. etc....
It has been my privilege to be associated with Charlotte and many others who have been sounding the warning for many years. Many who heard the warning constitute the vast number of Homeschoolers we have today. I would hope that number will continue to grow.
Note that the first word in the title she chose is "DELIBERATE". The slow march to a socialist society has been carefully and "DELIBERATELY'orchestrated and will go into quick step in the very near future.
