Operation Freep Palin- Counter the Attack (update @219- small, token gifts OK)
Vanity

Several posters have mentioned this over the past week, but I want to bring it up again. Governor Sarah Palin is under attack from both the right (faux right) and the left, blaming her for McCain's loss.

We all know the truth- few of us could ever have supported McCain without her.

Freepers, it is time to counter the attacks and encourage Governor Palin. Let's overwhelm her with thank-you cards, letters, flowers, etc.

Here is what you can do:

I sent her a note, but neglected the FR signature line.
Thanked her, and thanked her family for the stuff THEY had to put up with.

I heard a guy from redstate.com on Glenn Beck's show today saying that they were starting what he called "Project Leper". It's basic mission is to make sure that these traitorous, lying crap-weasels have the spotlight focused on them and that when they start trying to get hired by various campaigns for 2012, we make sure whoever is running gets an earful from the true conservatives.

Here is a link to where they talk about it and name names of the ones they can verify as spreading this crap: Operation Leper

You have to scroll down the page a little bit to read it.

QUOTE

I dunno, Palin seems pretty dumb and cost the RNC the election..

UNQUOTE

You’re joking right? You’re THAT willing to eat up the propaganda and smears? Has it dawned to you that the MSM, DNC, RINOS, and potential Republican rivals will do anything, say anything, to take her out? Well??? You think Mitt could draw crowds of 20k-60k? The Huckster? C’mon....get real. You KNOW how the MSM and DNC would hack them to bits (Mitt and the “rich dude”, “Mormon” angles...Huckster and the “religious fanatical right” angle).

I assure you, the main reason a lot of people voted for McCain (other than their disgust for Obama) was because of Palin. McCain knew he was on shakey ground with the conservative base: often accused of being too touchy-feely with the “moderates”. He’s made it a career to push conservative ideas under the bus whenever it served his purpose. Remember the amnesty bill? Nuff said.

Palin went “rogue” when she realized that “staying on McCain’s dogma script” was political suicide and a one-way ticket to defeat. She pushed for Joe the plummer. She pushed the Ayers angle. Old John was just too tepid.

The MSM would have a crapfest to see Palin doing things HER WAY without the filters or the handlers. That’s what scares them. With no Johnny Boy to be a millstone, things would be a lot more different.

Just my two cents...

I did it 14-15 years ago...when I was your age. Haven’t voted for a single Demorat since then, but voted for conservative third party candidates more than once. Sarah Palin was the reason I voted R this time.

When people say dreams don't come true, tell them about Sarah. One of Sarah's favorite films is Rudy. Sarah is an inspiration and a True American Success Story.

Sarah Palin: “I love those old sports movies, like Hoosiers, and Rudy, those that show that the underdog can make it and it's all about tenacity and work ethic and determination, and just doing the right thing. So it would probably be one of those two old sports movies.”

The Rudy Movie: Note the scene at the 7:00 mark, talk about inspiring. We can't give up on standing up for what we believe in. Sarah has a fighters spirit. Great scene.

Favorite Rudy scene?

Palin: “At the very end, the victories! Yeah! Rudy, where he gets to run out on the field and he gets to participate and make a difference.”

Here's Sarah's favorite scene at 2:35 mark as narrated by Rudy Ruettiger himself.

We need to inundate Conservative friendly journalists, websites and Fox. Maybe not the liberal media though. It would make them more threatened by her. But yes, we need to let anyone who is in media print, radio or TV, that Sarah Palin is on the right side of the issues that are American to the core.

Dumb huh? Governor of Alaska, was a hair away from being VP of the USA... versus someone sitting behind a keyboard mocking her? That comment says a lot more about you than her.

I want on the Sarah Palin list too! Love, Love Love her.....we should all call the RNC and tell them we want them to help expose who this “unnamed source” is so we can put a face on the coward.

Look.....I'm President of the Arkansas Federation of Republican Women and 1st Vice Chair of the Republican Party of Arkansas. That said, at our executive committee meeting we are having in a few days I am going to stand up for Sarah and demand that we expose who this person is! Trashing Sarah is coming from someone who doesn't want her as competition the next time around. It's petty ego driving this and one person's pettiness should not drive any of us out of the party. I am a rock solid conservative, served on the RNC national platform representing Arkansas in 2004 and 2008! There are many of us who are strong conservatives in the party but if the rest of you don't join your local grassroots/county Republican Committees we will never get our country back! How do you think state's representation on the National level get elected, huh? I don't stand a chance of getting there without strong unashamed conservatives involved to vote and support me at the state level....Same goes for every one of the states you all live in.. If you don't stand and fight with us what kind of chance are you giving to those of us who are working our butts off for freedom? We give up our time, our lives and yes, we PAY our own expenses for travel, etc. It's very seldom anyone thanks us for what we do, but we do it because we love our country, the US Declaration and Constitution.

This I'm going to leave the party is just what will make the DUs happy beyond all measure! Your just making their day! Conservatives should not be picking up their marbles and going home....they should be picking up their Constitution and joining their local Republican committee...make us stronger!

OK? Now go do the “right” thing!

Thank you for all your doing too! I think if everyone on FR took an active part joining their county Republican committee we can move out the country club types and overwhelm them with Ronald Reagan/Rush baby prodegy! We must do it!
