Though Proposition 8 passed statewide and countywide, some residents are disappointed with the outcome and are expressing their discontent in protests against the Marriage Equality Act this weekend.
In Laguna Beach, where residents voted 68 percent against Prop. 8 and 31 percent for the gay marriage ban, opponents are marching in protest of the proposition passing Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

The march will include a candlelight vigil and starts at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave., and continues up to Main Beach.
Ed Todeschini, Orange County Federal Club co-chair for the Human Rights Campaign, says that no particular organization is putting on the march, but various "No on 8 leaders" in Orange County are taking part.

In Lake Forest, blogs report a planned protest outside Saddleback Church along Portola Parkway at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren openly announced his support for Proposition 8.

would the stories have the same spin if conservatives were holding rally’s against 0bama due to his ‘lack of standing’ to assume the office of POTUS?
come to think of it... i believe its time we had ‘rallies’ to remove the cancer that is the dishonest press
We don’t march, but we can use our $’s to support Prop 8.
Boycotts work for our side too.
There are many corporations funding the repeal of Prop 8.
