Everyone wants to complain about the Republican Party, but No one wants to do anything about it!

I would like to suggest to those who are discouraged by the results of the Republican Primary, and the Presidential Election outcome, that you join your local Republican Party as soon as possible.

That you actually attend the meetings, take on the jobs, do the work, not for your own political gain, but to support your conservative priniples and conservative candidates who will have mass appeal( like Sarah Palin).

Four years will be here before you know it, and we can not take another setback of this magnitude.

It is time to start promoting NEW CONSERVATIVE TALENT ,not just promote the same old codgers who run year after year. You can not wait til the year of the Presidential Election, it should start immediately, so you can see how the process works, if you are not already involved. Our Republican politicians are not getting any younger, and we need candidates who can stand up to the rigors of campaigning.

I know four years is a long time to work without pay for the Republican Party, as officers, and footsoliders, and attend meetings that might not be your cup of tea. But SOMEONE HAS TO DO IT!

I remember sitting in a local Republican meeting over a year ago, when the state campaigner for McCain attended our meeting and starting his promotion of John McCain, even before Obama was the nominee he would be running against. I grilled him over and over on McCain's age issue, and told him I was not ready for another failure in a Presidential Election because the candidate was too old ( remember the Bob Dole vs. Clinton )election. Well of course , my worst fears came true, only Hillary Clinton did not come President, it was worse than that, it was Barack Hussein Obama.

WE HAVE TO START NOW! WE NEED A NEW GENERATION OF CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS TO GROOM FOR HIGHER OFFICE, NO MORE FROM THE GERITOL GENERATION.

You may think you need to start up a third party, but the reality of it is, that the Third Party will not win. When was the last time a Third Party Candidate became President of the United States? Of course no one remembers, because it has not been in our lifetime.

Get out there and reform the Republican Party to fit your conservative principles, and find New Younger Candidates to run for President of the United States in Four Years. We have no one to blame but ourselves.

All you have to do is show up, and you will be given something to do. Help is needed. I have been in different states, and shown up t the first meeting and was given an officers job at the first meeting.. haha. Lots of folks think there is some great mystique to these Meetings, but it is just average joes trying to help with the political process.. Did I mention that there is NO PAY involved in it.

I think the republican party needs to ask the federal government for a bailout.

Four years??? You mean TWO years......In TWO years we have another shot with the Congress. We need to take back control of at least the House in the mid-term election. Two years will go by fast - get out there, get moving!

You are exactly correct in this!!!!

Thank you. It is serious business electing a President. I would never of thought that the Democrats would of been able to get Barack Hussein Obama elected, he has no experience and has an iffy background, but it happened. And WHY? Because Republicans let it happen. John McCain let it happen. I supported McCain because he got the nomination, but he certainly was not my first choice.

That is the way I see it too. Alot of the Republicans are older with health issues, memory problems, and can not use a computer. :-)

The Republican party is the ONLY way to advance a conservative agenda—there is no other way. Get out there and work. Run to be on your couny central committee.

I’m not quite there, yet. I want to lick my wounds and relax for a little while. I’m mentally exhausted over all of this.

I’m laying the groundwork to keep even MORE tax dollars out of the hands of those stinkers in Washington. The election of Obama has inspired me beyond measure in that area, believe me! I knew before that it was me against the world. Now I know that there at 7-10 MILLION additional boneheads our there working against me, too! I was good at it before; I’m going to be excellent at it, now. :)

Then, I’ll gird my loins and pick up my sword again, once I know, to the penny, that my family is financially safe and sound and we’re not going to lose everything to even MORE confiscatory practices via Obama and the Congress-Rats & -RINOs.

I wrote the following to our local paper and they have yet to print it, but here is my .02...

With this recent election, America has reached a turning point.
For the last 50 years, the liberals have been setting the agenda and it has been up to the conservatives to try and stop it. Year after year the democrat party has steered the discussion and pushed for a socialist nanny state and it has been the republicans that have been acting like a dam holding back the flood.
This year the dam broke and America will be inundated with a socialistic torrent we have never imagined.

We now sit here now and ask, “What happened?”
Well, it started with FDR and the Great Society but more and more the blame lies with US.
Over the years we allowed the liberal philosophy to be implemented a tiny piece at a time, bit by bit, until it is now almost irreversible. Conservatives never thought that they should PUSH BACK, instead they just blocked legislation that they disagreed with.
We didn’t SET the agenda, we tried to stop it. This is equivalent to the football “prevent defense”, which never works.
Now we are at a point where conservatives must start fighting back HARD, just like the liberals. The democrat party plays dirty and republicans play by the rules. This must change if we ever want to see a conservative elected to a national office again in our lifetimes. The MSM is never going to change unless we force them to economically.
The school system is going to remain liberal indoctrination centers unless we get involved as parents and force them to stop teaching global warming as fact, dependence on government, republicans are bad and the rest of the liberal lie that our kids come home with.
Unless we as parents monitor EVERY single thing that these government schools do TO our young people, they will continue to grow into new liberal democrats and conservatives will continue to lose until the brainwashing of America is complete.

These young liberal-bots that continue into college, where the vast majority of the professors are HARD LEFT ideologues, end up as adults with the mindset that democrats DESERVE to lead this nation and will do ANYTHING to make it so.
Vote fraud was rampant in many states and is still going on, perpetrated by these liberals believing that they are saving the country and the world.

It is going to take a generation to undo the damage, but it is possible. Home schooling isn’t the answer; the taxes imposed on families required a fundamental change to the nuclear family. Both parents are now required to work in order for it to have the American dream. In order to take back our country, we have to:

- Monitor everything our children are exposed to at our TAXPAYER FUNDED schools and band together to beat back the liberal agenda. Flood the PTA with our members and say no to the homosexual agenda, environmental nazis and any other liberal brainwashing.

- Push for school vouchers so that these schools will be on notice that we will not tolerate politics in our elementary schools.

Our kids are there to learn the “three R’s”, reading, writing and arithmetic; NOT recycling, reproductive rights and revolution.

- Volunteer to work at the polls to prevent fraud.

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooo? What planet are you living on. Did you just see that someone named Barack Hussein Obama just got elected ... meaning.. more intrusive government, more taxes, more insecurity for the United States.

I think he got elected, not because of what he stands for obviously, but because he is younger. Isn't that a hoot?

Ageism defeated the Republican Party again.

No thanks, been there and done that. The GOP is designed to crush dissention all the way down to Precinct Committeeman level.

I agree with most of what you say but we can’t forget the stupidity of the American voter. All the negative info about Obama was there for anyone to see. The masses didn’t care. He successfully pitted enough of the 95% of the electorate against the 5% with the most wealth. We’re in a world of hurt.

If your thoughts agree with mine, then yes it counts.

OK, actually my guess is that less republican-bashing and more focus and cooperation can go a long way.  Obama would never have gotten elected without the help he got from 20% of the voters who call themselves 'conservatives'.

Palin is a Republican, and if you want her to be the nominee in 2012, you better get involved in your Republican Party now, because the decision is made in the Party Nomination, not on Election day.

Democrats running on big government platforms win. Republicans running on big government platforms lose. If a Republican wants to promote big government, that Republican should join the Democratic party. If the Republican wants to win, he or she should run on a smaller, less intrusive government platform. The candidate must also be able to sell the platform to the average voter. Reagan was able to do this. If you are not, don't run.
