It’s a good time to BLOAT like there’s no tomorrow.
Surprise? I don’t think anyone with two active neurons is surprised by this.
I picked up an XD 40 to compliment my .44mag, and I have to say I love the XD. Great weapon, virtually no recoil, very accurate out of the box @ 25 yds, and best of all, it’s so easy to field strip and fully clean.
**I just about keeled over yesterday when I saw the price of .38 target ammo. $50/50 rounds.***
That’s nothin! Forty years ago I aquired an origional 1873 Winchester rifle in 38/40. After looking in dozens of shops I finally found a box of cartriges that cost me (at that time) $20.00 for a box of fifty. That would be the equivalent of over one hundred dollars today. The rifle split every shell case as it was chambered so poorly.
I had one and sold it because it was very inaccurate. With a scope the group was about 6 inches at 100yards. With my Garand I could get 4 inch groups with the iron sights. It is a shame because the Mini-14 is a good looking rifle. I have read that Ruger has developed a new Mini-14 with a better and heavier barrel that they claim is much more accurate.
Roll your own. Components will probably rise in price too but not as fast. I'm stocking up in case I ever decide to buy a gun :)
***Whosoever comes for my guns will get them all.
Ammo first and at a lot faster rate than they were banking on.****
We all feel that way but it is just jingoistic bold talk. It didn’t happen when Britain confiscated guns nor in Australia when they confiscated semi auto firearms. Definitly not in California when they banned semis.
When “they” come for them it will be with force and striking fear. They will be given up without a shot.
However, there is a lot of area where they can disappear underground, not just in my backyard.
Cosmoline or vasoline and a home made burial tube of large plastic pipe can do wonders to make them disappear.
stupid is as stupid does
Bought my first gun the other night (S&W 686P .357). The guy said they were selling everything and anything as fast as they could write them up.
The new NAA Pug .22 mag looks like I might be able to hold it in three fingers, but if it went off I’m afraid it might hurt someone: break the skin & cause a nasty infection.
PS commie gunowners: I tried to order a case of 7.62X39 on cheaperthandirt 2night—backorder! Good thing for me I already got a lot a while back at $3.00 @ box.
It’s the rifle. The design is just a mess. I tried for some time to accurize mine and it just became a waste of time. What they should have done is make a bull barrel, stop the operating rod from slamming into the barrel and support the barrel in the front.
As far as hitting to the right, you should correct your windage.
We need RPG’S!
When it gets bad enough to bury your weapons, how bad does it have to get to dig them up and use them?
Pick Box #3.
soap box
ballot box
ammo box
Well unless gun owners are willing to form militias and get organized they might as well be turned in —cause obama’s Gestapo will confiscate them
XD45 = Wednesday Morning Special?
:o)
Wolf Ammo is cheap for a reason (IMO). I have trouble with Wolf in my revolvers. I have had no-fires and 1/2-fires. 1/2-fires are not good for semi-autos.
But I do agree. It is the cheapest ammo.
They will have to force their way into my house, restrain me and find my guns. Then they will have to try me in a court of law for obstruction of justice and resisting arrest. I will go to jail before I volunteer to give up my guns.
Under just the right circumstances (no family home), They may have to wait for me to run out of ammo before they force their way in.
Where the hell do you live? Is that top end defensive rounds like Cor-Bon or Win. white box or UMC?
