Did President-elect Barack Hussein Obama commit a federal crime in September of this year? Or did he never actually register and, instead, did friends of his in the Chicago federal records center, which maintains the official copy of his alleged Selective Service registration commit the crime for him?

It's either one or the other, as indicated by the release of Barack Obama's official Selective Service registration for the draft. A friend of mine, who is a retired federal agent, spent almost a year trying to obtain this document through a Freedom of Information Act request, and, after much stonewalling, finally received it and released it to me.

But the release of Obama's draft registration and an accompanying document, posted below, raises more questions than it answers. And it shows many signs of fraud, not to mention putting the lie to Obama's claim that he registered for the draft in June 1979, before it was required by law.

Why does the year read A8D? He means A.D.?

Could it be that this was forged because he was not living as an american citizen at the time (1979-80) and would not have been required to register?

It’s been out there but don’t remember if it was on FR or some other forum in which I saw some comments. Not sure what this does or would have done to change his supporters votes for him though.

I am taking 611 as the first three numbers. In many places on the web it is saying unissued for that set but I found one that says it is from California.

It doesn't. The 1 and 9 run together, so it looks like an A.

I think it is 1981 when he travels to Pakistan on the Indonesian passport..or at least that is one theory since Americans weren’t freely allowed to travel there.

Anyone know at what age it was required to have a social security number in the 60’s -if it was required.

If 611 is his social security number then it appears it came from California.

Mine is 042 for CT. I was born in Michigan. Moved to MA and then CT in 1961.

Is there some way to verify if (808) 949-2317 (from the Selective Service form) was his grandmother's phone number in 1980?

As someone who has done a lot of genealogical research, I can tell anyone out there that bigger libraries will have copies of the phone books for major cities going back decades. Most likely is in Hawaii itself, following by Kalifornia. The bigger the library, the better.

Also, if someone were to bring up grandma's credit record (it can hardly be private, now that she's dead), it'd probably have information going back quite a while.

Why did Obama only write the last two digits of the year for his birth year (61) --- at the top of the form --- but wrote out all four digits (1980) at the bottom?

I have isolated in red circles below what I think was originally on the form at the bottom --- 90 --- for 1990. This would make the "0" go up at an angle, but if you look at how he wrote "Obama" as well as his zip code (96826) on the same form - these are on an upward slant as well.

What do you think? Should I put down the bong? :O)

You have to have a social security number to claim the child on your tax return. How to get a number

And as some poster pointed out..when did he start going by that name?

That rule doesn’t go back more than 20 or so years.

Back before the 70s one only needed SN to work and pay taxes. Only since the welfare system infected the IRS did the SSN number be required at birth.

I was going to say the same thing. I have done quite a bit of reading on his background and am nowhere near convinced he was using “Obama” in 1980 - most likely Soetoro. He would have been five days shy of his 19th birthday when he allegedly completed this form by hand.

But here is the significant thing to me.

Did he just get his social security number when he moved to California to go to College. Just when did he go to california and who was claiming him on their tax returns before then. Did the US Government require a social security number for children back then if claiming as a Dependent?

Hawaii was already a state when Obama was born.
