Gathering of FReepers, One at a Time: Wk 148, Olney, MD 11-08-08: Op. Infinite FReep
Nov. 13,2008

Posted on 11/13/2008 3:32:13 PM PST by trooprally

Olney started out originally with Lurker Bill, Cindy_True_Supporter, []Mrs] T and myself. Then the faithful D.C. Chapter members were able to clear their schedule to help out. They supported the Olney FReep even after spending Friday night at Walter Reed, thru wind, rain and cold. SIDEBAR: Neither Olney or Walter Reed has had a serious snow fall while we FReeped. Hope our good luck continues. We even had two FReeps in Olney on one day to throw the moonbats into confusion (not hard to do). As the Legionnaires started to come out, the FReepers got a break. Not long ago, Lurker Gary (now FReeper Eager) started coming out. He has his kids on most weekends, but when doesn’t have them, he is a regular. This past Saturday, Lurker Joe showed up. He requested a specific sign for his own so he can hold it. The sign has been made and is waiting his use.

And the moonbats have lost their outside help. MOBilizing Mothers and PeaceActionMC no longer come out. And the faux marine no longer comes out. He even asked IVAW members to join him in Olney, but no one came. And after we out-FReeped him in a 6 hour marathon FReep, he disappeared.

A big THANK YOU to all those who helped make the Olney FReep such a success. Our 3 Year Anniversary is also coming up on Jan. 03,2009. We only missed one Saturday, when everyone was at a Gathering of Eagles Rally in D.C.

The list of the 11 Troop Supporters include: Legionnaires Glenn (USMC - WWII), (Army - WWII), Francis (Army - WWII), Halsey (USMC - Korea), Dennis (Army - Korea), and Newbie Joe, Lurker Bill, Cindy_True_Supporter, Fraxinus, [Mrs] Trooprally, aka [Mrs] T, and myself, [Mr] T.

Pics by [Mrs] T.

The moonbats were able to get 7 out of the near by “Quacker” Assisted Living Facility.

Also, a HAPPY BELATED 233rd BIRTHDAY to all those Marines out there. We received one Birthday Wish and 3 Semper Fi’s last Saturday. BELOW: Best pic of our Marine Corps flag from last Saturday. That’s also me and Fraxinus standing under the flags with Dave, Halsey and Cindy_True_Supporter discussing Legion stuff before getting to their FReeping duties.

BELOW LEFT: Lurker Bill waving. This is his 3rd sign and it is starting to show its wear. L. Bill FReeps at Walter Reed, then Olney and 2 times a month in Westminster. BELOW RIGHT: Close up of L. Bill’s sign.

BELOW LEFT: Legionnaire Dave on our extreme left flank. BELOW RIGHT: Legionnaire Francis joins Dave. Cars that back up from the red light gets a heads up on our corner.

BELOW LEFT: Dennis with singing soldier. BELOW RIGHT: Dennis with newbie. Newbie grabbed a sign and stood with us and helped pick up.

BELOW LEFT: Halsey with Vietnam Vet. He’s a local and had to stop by and Thank us. BELOW RIGHT: Me talking with another local who walked down our line and shook our hand in thanks. And a close up of Cindy_True_Supporter.

BELOW LEFT: Closer look at me and Fraxinus. BELOW RIGHT: Halsey and Glenn. Bad pic of Glenn while he’s talking, but it’s the only one we have of him.

BELOW LEFT: Our blue banner looked great today. The clouds were out and the sun wasn’t washing out the message. Good message for this Veterans’ Day. BELOW RIGHT: THE CLOUDS

And the moonbats, a cloud of the worst sort. They still haven’t learned to write bigger signs.

BUT HAVE NO FEAR, UNDERDOG IS HERE, oops, I mean our supporters are here.

Hello, Is there a schedule for these rallies? I live in Silver Spring, Maryland in Montgomery County and would love to attend one of these rallies. Would be great for spirit considering the un-Godly amount of liberals in this area. Also I’m only 17 so not many concervatives my age, unfortunatly.

If this weekend rain pattern ever stops, I’ll be out.

People ask why I don’t get a car. At this point I think I need to invent into a canoe.

yes, schedules are at the end of most threads. At the bottom of the right sidebar, hit Config sidebar and put activisn/chapters on top. You can also get onto the D.C Chapter Master Ping List.

There is a FReep at Walter Reed tonight, and every Friday night, at 7PM at Georgia Ave and Elder Streets. Be sure to wear a raincoat or bring an umbrella. There will be plenty of signs.

Time and location for Olney is at the bottom of the AAR.

I’m out of town now but there will be other FReepers there.

[Mr] T
