Bingo....we have a winner. If a cop with a nightstick couldn't use nonlethal force to subdue a guy swinging a chair they failed the qualifications test.

I wonder if a male officer would have needed to shoot him or if this guy is another victim of the push to hire female officers? I'd have probably shot the guy too. Swinging a chair is going to bring a lot more momentum than a simple nightstick or ASP is going to be able to block.
