Constitutional crisis looming over Obama's birth location
World Net Daily ^ | 11/14/08 | Bob Unruh

The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.

The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.

WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.

The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

If Hussein is voided... I think McCain wins, not Biden.

Depends on when it happens, and what the state laws are regarding electors voting for someone other than the person they are pledged to. If it happens before, they'll vote for whomever the DNC tells them is the new and improved Rat candidate. I would expect, but do not know, that in the case of the cannidate they are pledged to dying or otherwise no longer being in consideration, they are free to vote for someone else.

But the lawsuits will still fly, because those electors themselves would have been selected based on fraud.

Hang on, no matter what happens in the courts, the ride gets rougher, much much rougher, from here.

Souter did not rule that he had to provide the BC only that he must respond to the suit. Who knows what that will be.

You forgot selling nuclear secrets to Communist nations and receiving the proceeds of said sales laundered through foreign nationals and Buddhist nuns...

I was just adding that Bill Clinton also had some interesting concerns shall we say in his background, not unlike the present One.

ust where on Pennsylvania is there a federal government office or even a cubicle entitled "The President-Elect"?

Don't know where it is, but the GSA is providing the digs for the Office of the President Elect. Courtesy of GWB.

“Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. It could be that it doesn't exist, or it could be that he's playing rope-a-dope...”
Or perhaps he is not “Barack Obama.” Maybe he is “Barry Marshall.”

.....That would be a big embarrassment for the author of Dreams from My Father.

This is the likely outcome. Citizen but a fraud. Either way, he's a joke and unfit for office.

Because of his associations, he shouldn't have even been given a security clearance! How did he get briefed without a clearance, anyway??

Well, two things, first the President probably waived that requirement, and they probably did not show him the real "good stuff". Secondly as a US Senator, he has access anyway, on a case by case basis, if he specifically asks for a particular piece of information. But nobody has to tell him squat, even now, unless he asks. A President Elect who is not a member of Congress would not have that option.

Go back and read the Constitution, especially the 12th Amendment. If Obama is declared ineligible, then the Electoral College will not be able to pick a candidate, because no one will have a majority. Then it goes to the House which MUST CHOOSE from the 3 remaining candidates receiving the most electoral votes. Only McCain is in this category (Biden is NOT a candidate for President), since he is the only oneother than Obama to gain electoral votes, and thus it would fall to him.

In the end, we’d have McCain and Biden, Prez and VP.

I can get my original birth certificate with a signed, notarized letter. It might take a few days, but they’ll send it to me.

He’s the President-elect of the United States, for crying out loud! He should be able to get his in about two minutes. He’s got the entire government

He should have picked up a copy when he went to visit granny the week before the election.

Heh I would prefer Biden over Obama.

I would prefer a kangaroo in a three piece suit over either of them though.

“Mr. Boffers” the boxing kangaroo would have a better homeland security plan than OBama (or Biden lol).

The Court will not decide who is President if Obama is not qualified. Congress actually determines still if Zero is not qualified no matter what the Court does or does not do.

When the Electoral votes are certified and delivered to Cheney any Rep. and Senator can object.

NOT according to the US Constitution.

Sorry, but Biden wouldn't be VP. He was appointed to his spot by Bozo. If Bozo is found ineligible to be President he is also ineligible to appoint a VP Candidate. The whole Presidential ticket on the Democrat side would be null and void. McCain would be President and Palin would be VP.

Someone had better call Sarah and tell her to stop unpacking!

If he were disqualified before the electors vote, the electors could choose anyone from what I understand - they would likely choose Hillary over Biden. Biden might still be VP.

It’s kind of scary that you have to pass less of a background check to be the manager of a grocery store than to be President isn’t it?
