A surreal scientific blunder last week raised a huge question mark about the temperature records that underpin the worldwide alarm over global warming. On Monday, Nasa's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), which is run by Al Gore's chief scientific ally, Dr James Hansen, and is one of four bodies responsible for monitoring global temperatures, announced that last month was the hottest October on record.

Hansen needs fired and prosecuted for abuse of NASA funds.
I think the global credit crisis is partially due to fear of Obama and what his ilk want to do to save us from the "global warming crisis".
It will not save us. Obama and his ilk are committed to the core. They will just drive us harder and deeper into the hole.

You are right concerning the workplace of Hansen. However, when the acronym NASA creeps into a conversation 19 out of 20 times one thinks of Houston and the state of Texas. And believe me, there is something rotten in the state of NASA as well as the state of Texas.

Yeah...but isn’t Hansen’s boss in Houston? This guy should have been reprimanded at least twice in the last year. This would make three.
All them damn cavemen in Minnesota melted all the glaciers.
Now all were are left with is 10,000 lakes.
In my opinion, this was no ‘blunder’. Hansen tried to pawn off the old data as new stuff, and got caught. He’s quickly losing any credibility he might have retained.
Maybe we can sell “carbon Debits” based on the promise to keep using oil and gas?

Well I have a cottage on Lake Huron (MI) and the water level has dropped steadily for the past 25 years... It is now 5 feet below its highest... Rising water level???... NOT HERE...
