While investigating a fight between a husband and wife that led to the man being stabbed yesterday, Anne Arundel County police were initially told that the couple had argued over the man making a mess while cutting deer meat in their mobile home's kitchen in Lothian.
Upon further investigation, however, officers determined that the man had been stabbed in a shed next to the home where they also stumbled upon a marijuana-growing operation at the Maryland Manor Mobile Estates, county police said today.
The 43-year-old man, whose name was not released, initially told police, about 2:40 p.m., that his wife accidentally stabbed him with a fillet knife, after she grew upset over a mess he made while cutting the meat. He suffered a two-inch deep cut to his abdomen, and authorities took him to Prince George's Hospital for emergency surgery.
The man is expected to survive, police said.

ok that’s not a victimless crime
So who gets the deer, me or the dog?
Oh, deer!
Reminds me of a deermeat or dearmeat cartoon floating around the net. Has a family sitting at a dinner table guessing what kind of meat it is LOL.
When you are high, you will eat anything....
Real story: Bush’s fault.
Since chet is new I thought I might explain my comment.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cClB2iLAqts
If you drop from corn out of your car window they walk right over. You could smack in the head with a bat and throw them in the truck. IF the kids weren't with me.....
I understand being stabbed by a family member can be somewhat traumatic, but dragging LEOs into it will never end well, for anyone.
Especially if you are growing an illicit substance on your property.
Rule one. When you are involved in criminal activity, avoid contact with law enforcement at all costs.
Rule two. See Rule one.
And this is the reason I will be leaving Maryland someday and maybe thinking about Alaska - at least they share in their hunts - no fighting or killing over it... :)
This happened in Maryland??
Daddy, daddy!! Why did you bash Bambi's head in?!
It's funny.
Why does ANYONE need a knife in their home????!!!
Daddy, daddy!! Why did you bash Bambi’s head in?!
Yes, another teaching moment lost.
Deer Meat,
How are you? I am fine.

So what happened to the deer meat, or the venison as us rural people call it?
