If you are ridiculing freepers because you think Obama has shown a valid colb on his website, know this, the two who forged that document have confessed to the forgery after Polarik proved the way they did it. Yet the Obamanoids continue to tout that forgery as proof of his birth in Hawai’i. The Constitution is more important than the affirmative action candidate or your smarmy desire to just all get along and move on to ‘more important things.’

Nice.

You post just proves my point.

I didn’t insult anyone - unless you think that someone disagreeing with you is insulting you.

Spittle? I merely disagree and THEN the insults start..of me.

Why bother having a discussion if all you’re going to do is tell each other how right you are?

is that the USSC is not going to bar the first black President from taking office.

Dude, he's not even black in the American sense. He is literally a biracial African.

I read earlier this evening (on one of the BC threads) that Obama Sr’s previous marriage (or marriages, whatever) in Kenya were tribal marriages that may not have had any legal standing.

What I find interesting is how short a period of time period between his birth date and the announcement...

It was nine days between the birth date and the annoucement in the Advertiser. Assuming, for argument's sake, that the birth occurred in Kenya, that would have allowed more than ample time for mom and baby to arrive back in Hawaii and either register the birth with the HI Health Dept. or have the maternal grandparents call in the announcement to the paper upon hearing the news of Baby Barry's arrival.

Barack’s mother obtained a COLB (certificate of Live Birth). COuld that have triggered the newspaper announcement?

Almost certainly did. That is the information came from the state, not as in many locations, the hospitals. See the heading on that seeking? It says "Health Statistics", which is the hint that the information came from the State Health department.

Don’t bother, bro. I’ve tried arguing this and it’s to no avail. You get shouted down, called names, and labeled unpatriotic. They’re aggressive, obnoxious, and obsessed.

"[I]f the new president makes credible efforts to govern from the center, then talk radio can't afford long-term marginalization as a sulking, sniping, angry irrelevancy. It makes no sense to react with pre-emptive rage (and an odd obsession over Obama's birth certificate) to a president-elect who has remained pointedly vague on policy. - Michael Medved

The State of Hawaii routinely provided a list of new birth registrations for public information...

Perhaps, perhaps not. Even assuming that they did, there's still a reasonable possibility that the papers also took family announcements from the general public, which was and still is a common practice with small city newspapers.

Yeah -

They’re slamming him on this on the billionth thread on this.

I see a lot of whining lately and very little organizing.

Freepers should be getting together locally and getting folks in and out of office at the grassroots level.

It’s starting here in NH.

You are a liar too! Your post was aimed at insulting FR. Then you added a few little pricks to make it even more pointedly nasty. I’d say you deserve no more attention ...

Read the original intent of the founding fathers on the definition of “natural born”. Donforio’s lawsuit goes thru this process of explaining it. Founding fathers wanted the definition to be very tight that any hint of foreign citizen via one of the parents or location of birth will disqualify the individual. It is defined as at the time of birth, BOTH parents must be US citizen and the child must be born on US SOIL. Some will argue that the definition needs to be loosen up to reflect conditions of the 21st Century. They can change it by admending the Constitution. That is the definition we must use today or our Constitution ceases to exist, meaning I can round up black men and force them to work on my farm as slaves. Ignore one admendment and some people can ignore others. Not a pretty picture.

You have a strange idea of what an insult is, or is not!

Sigh...

I didn’t mean to insult anyone.

And I certainly didn’t insult the entire site.

There are, however, several folks who have Obama Derangement Syndrome and it’s getting old.

By the way, that’s two personal attacks. Nice.

And whether or not the “Certificate of Live Birth” being bandied about is genuine

It's a Certification of Live Birth". It's an abstract of data from the state's computer database of birth registrations, generated upon request. The "Certificate of Live Birth" is the "long form" birth certificate. It would the mother's signature, the doctor's signature, a hospital "registrar's" signature or for a birth outside of Hawaii, supporting information. There would also be supporting information for an amended certificate or a late filing (more than a year after birth). The most common reason for such an amendment is an adoption, where the adoptive parents' names replace the birth parents' names. But a legal name change will also be applied to the BC. The certification will only show the most recent data.

Is stating a fact an insult?

Whenever I calmly state a dissent on the BC issue, I get piled on by several Freepers and called names = aggressive

I get called names and attacked personally = obnoxious

Some posters have posted more than a dozen articles on this just today = obsessed

An insult is something in which the sole INTENTION is to demean or hurt someone.

Words mean things.

I do not understand the obsession with this Oblamalama birth certificate thing.

Well, I for one (assuming that you're not an Obama cheerleader) don't understand why you don't understand.

That L. A. Slimes photo is from a "Certification of Live Birth" which Obama's camp put out on his web site. It is a document produced within the last two years at most by computer, not anywhere close to the "Certificate of Birth" or "Certificate of Live Birth" which normally is produced within hours at most of the actual birth event. Moreover, the document showed accompanying the Slimes article is a forgery, as proved scientifically by, among others, FReeper Ron Polarik. I don't see why you would trust an organization (LA Slimes) that, during the campaign, refused, despite much pressure, to release a tape or transcript of what their guy Obama said at an event honoring the Palestinian Islamist Rashid Khalidi.

The State of Hawaii says BHO was born there.

Not at all. They merely say thay have a certificate regarding his birth in their files, but haven't indicated the POB on the face of that certificate. In Hawaii, it was possible under state law for a Hawaii resident relative of a baby born out of state to register that out of state birth with state authorities within a year of the birth.

Hawaii's Republican governor spoke ... at the Republican National Convention.

Totally irrelevant. Most Republican officeholders have regrettably treated this contoversy like the third rail of politics.
