Kansas chosen for bioterror lab

WASHINGTON – The government has recommended a site in Kansas for a new $450 million laboratory to study biological threats such as anthrax and foot-and-mouth disease, officials said Wednesday.

Near Ft. Riley, were the Swine Flu or Spanish Flu epidemic began. That killed MILLIONS world wide.

Well, I’m sure the citizens of Kansas feel comfortable knowing that somehow their goofball Leftist goobernor, K. Sebellius, will find a way to keep this economic development out of their state (as she has done before).

Did anyone consider Madison, Berkeley, Santa Monica, Portland, Seattle, Boulder, Detroit, Chapel Hill, Miami, or similar venues for this? One mistake and the big will be wind-borne all over the country.
