I gave up watching these Sunday Morning DNC Commercials, er, news shows years ago and am not about to start again. It is too destructive of my peace of mind.
Nevertheless (now that I've whined in protest about it), you're right. We need more breathless on-the-scene reporting of these premier, execrable, revolting, Sunday morning propaganda organs, er, events.
Watching these things is a cross between watching Liberals in therapy and watching them mentally copulate. It's sickening on all levels.
I hope there are brave souls out there with more stomach than I can muster for this task. I know others as well as myself appreciate the herculean effort required.
My hat's off to you, Phsstpok, maica, and all the others that somehow manage to do it!

Encouraging news is that Obama will anger his lefty base even more with the appointment to the dept. of Education. He indicates the "Clinton cabinet" has got 'em on fire, but D of E appointee will put 'em over the edge.
Since I've been worrying about the likes of a guy in the mold of Wm. Ayers in that post, this could be good news.
More than rumor....Brokaw introduced him this morning as the new host.

Sessions is holding out for Chapter 11 for the auto companies. He does not like a Car Czar which he likens to Paulson...and how’s that workin’ out for ya.
Dodd, of course, wants a Car Czar.
Dodd says it’s a credit problem and people whose credit scores aren’t good enough can’t get auto loans...so I guess he thinks they SHOULD get the loans, just like in the mortgage market.
Dodd, by the way, should be in handcuffs.

which prompted me to remember when Bush the elder teased the news media about his upcoming"surprising" VP pick. At the time he meant the surprise would be the generational difference with Quayle, but I was hoping for a gender surprise and specifically choosing Jean Kirkpatrick as his VP. It wouldn't have worked, since they're both New England "ivy league" intellectual types, but the notion of NOW imploding was joyous!

The hypocrisy of Dodd looking down on anyone is just incredible. When is the GOP going to start beating the drum of “Politics of Corruption”?
Although I'm puzzled by the Louisiana election results from yesterday. Not only Wm. Jefferson Democrat-Louisiana, but others in very heavy democractic districts #2 & #4.
They seem puzzled by it too. Could it be buyers remorse ? fear of one party rule ?
Any LAers who can shed some light on those races/trends in New Orleans and Shreveport?
I wish I knew the answer.
It is my opinion there is a hot tub under their desk... I never saw it as I did today as the camera pulled away.
