It will come on the heels of the next murder spree by someone with a black rifle or pistol. The bill has probably already been written and is just waiting.
It will come just like that travesty the 1968 gun control act and the 1993 assault rifle ban, in the form of a “crime Prevention Package” which will give the states millions of dollars for crime control. The politicians will line up like hogs at the trough to get their share for their vote.

Look for a first attempt by that time, but I take a tiny smidgen of hope from something Wayne LaPierre said not long ago: A lot of the new Dems in the House, especially, were elected on pro-gun and pro-life platforms. They remember 1994, even if the leadership chooses to ignore that time of woe for the Dems. LaPierre said that such a ban isn't necessarily a lock. I think we'll have a replay of Mumbai right here on US soil and then he'll get his ban from the frightened sheep, which will of course lead to many more attempts to slaughter now defanged SHEEPDOGS.
After trying to figure out where he said this, it turns out it was during the Shinseki announcement “news conference”.
Only thing was he didn’t say anything at all to reassure the gun owners, he just simply restated the exact same thing he has said in the past.
