Friday we discussed the anti-gun efforts of the National Council of Jewish Women, a group that claims to be "inspired by Jewish values."
Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership would disagree. Billed as "America's most aggressive defender of firearms ownership," the "twin goals" of JPFO are:
To destroy "gun control" and to encourage Americans to understand and defend all of the Bill of Rights for everyone...
Founded by Jews and initially aimed at educating the Jewish community about the historical evils that Jews have suffered when they have been disarmed, JPFO has always welcomed persons of all religious beliefs who share a common goal of opposing and reversing victim disarmament policies while advancing liberty for all.
They're not a lobbying organization. Their work is done through education, via books, videos, pamphlets...

Until the Jews, who have the most to lose in Democrat administrations, start voting conservative, then and only then will I give a big fat rats arse about what they think.

In Israel inspired by the main Jewish value over the last 4,000 years, the will to survive, our girls, subject to the draft, get the same weapons training as the boys in the army. As for Jews espousing one political viewpoint, if that ever happened, we might even get a majority government here someday.

Besides the jews who founded this group aren’t the liberal jews on the west or east coasts. They saw Hitler disarm everyone and then well, you know.

These Jews vote conservative. So do I.
The National Council of Jewish Women: a group that claims to be “inspired by Jewish values”?? Since when does disarming oneself and forcing others to do so a part of Jewish values? One would think disarming would be the last thing of value. The NCJW must have come from some of those who managed to escape the holocaust rather than survive it and missed out on a real education on how the world was, is and can be again.

As the product of a liberal Jewish home, I can say that I'm the (CAUTION - Racist phrase ahead!) "black sheep" of the family. I'm the one with the motorcycle and all the guns. My fascination with guns began back in grade school, and honestly, nobody in the family has been able to figure that out... Anyway, my mother once told me that "Jews don't believe in guns." I kid you not. To this day (I'm 46 now), I still don't understand what that means. I mean, how can you not "believe" in an inanimate object that obviously DOES exist. I think that she meant that "Jews aren't supposed to USE guns," but them I never understood how she could support Israel and hold that view. Especially knowing that a number of her half brothers that she never met were killed in eastern europe during the 1940s.
Many Jews just have this "disconnect" that really can't be explained in any way. It's quite disturbing, actually.

But less than 20% of the Jews vote with their brains. This group notwithstanding.
To the contrary, they serve as an example of the change you wish to see to the Jewish community. I've sent them money in the past and I will do so again next year.
If you're serious about wishing to see jews on "our side", you should shout in solidarity with them, "Never again!"
