We had been told to expect the Prez to come in one more time before January - we just weren't sure when. I'm very happy for the troops that he visited one last time.

What makes you think that I’m not angry at congress as well?
George Bush didn’t use the power he had when he had the opportunity to do so. Not only did he not use it, most of the time he seemed to be rooting for the other side.
With the recent recover packages just how much conservatism did George Bush show there? He was like a snake-oil salesman telling us the sky was falling.
Who said I expected him to be my daddy? All I expected out of him is to act like the conservative he ran as.
This is the problem with rhinos. They have selective memories. I think you have a bit more “recovering” to do.
It used to be that I came to FR to escape the liberalism out there and the past 4 years it feels like the same old same old. Are there any real conservatives left here?
