KABC now has the Dodger contract. They were bumping Larry’s program and I think that caused him to rethink his position at KABC.

That's what I think too. Larry was getting preempted by the Dodgers seven months of the year. I was saddened but not surprised by his announcement.

Actually, Larry Elder was he station's libertarian. And unlike some other libertarians, tough on foreign policy.

I guess that in the Depression economy we're all socialists now.

Yeah, that’s the breaks sometimes. KABC saw an opportunity and they ran with it. You can’t blame them. I’d like to see another station put him on at 12:00 noon so I could switch to him from Rush.

I heard Larry Elder, and also heard other conversative radio talk shows, during the 4 years we lived in Texas (02-07)and I loved his show, He was not easily bullied!

actually...He was very good (a real person), saw him on C-spam, a couple years ago....problem was his message/ideas were ignored...near L.A. South Central, MaxASSine Waters' district.

Why would KABC fire a popular, conservative black talk show host when a socialist black man has just been elected to the presidency? They couldn’t ask for a better juxtaposition.

Thanks. I didn’t hear that part. At times like that it is easy to fall into a funk. You’ve got to try to avoid it if possible, keep it on an upbeat. Evidently he failed to do that.
