Big Brother's new target: Tracking of all firearms
WND ^ | January 13, 2009 | Drew Zahn

U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Ill., is hoping to pass a firearm-licensing bill that will significantly rewrite gun-ownership laws in America.

Among the more controversial provisions of the bill are requirements that all handgun owners submit to the federal government a photo, thumb print and mental heath records. Further, the bill would order the attorney general to establish a database of every handgun sale, transfer and owner's address in America.

The bill claims its purpose is "to protect the pubic against the unreasonable risk of injury and death associated with the unrecorded sale or transfer of firearms to criminals and youth."

You've got that right.

Just a movie, I know, but it's worth watching Red Dawn again and noting what it is that separates the group on the inside of the wire from the individuals on the outside (HINT: it is NOT the wire).

Remember HR 2640?

http://www.nraila.org/Legislation/Federal/Read.aspx?id=3112

The armed thief is secure in the knowledge that all that is yours is his for the taking once he knows your only defense is to ask, “Please, no?”

There is a reason this crop of politicians want—NEED—an unarmed citizenry.

I did NOT vote for Obama! MA has been a lost cause for 40 years. I had more hope for other states that went for The One.

I dunno. It seems like everything is spiraling out of control?

There does seem to be a "quickening" under way.

Carefully examine how Social-Fascists Dhimmicrats use specific words to perpetuate their lies:

c) Purposes- The purposes of this Act and the amendments made by this Act are--

(1)to protect the public against the unreasonable risk of injury and death associated with the unrecorded sale or transfer of qualifying firearms to criminals and youth;

unrecorded sale??????

The implication is that there are NO records of these sales and by some miracle criminals will submit to this record keeping.

This one of the most infuriating propaganda tactics of the left, using specifically chosen words to Imply-lie about the current state of affairs.

Aside from individual sales, is there ANY place where you can LEGALLY buy a firearm without it being recorded 4473 different ways?

But that is exactly the idea you are to get when you read those words.

Exit question: Has this type of legislation EVER “Protected the public”????

Suggestion:

Dismantle your gun and hide the parts. In the event of a crisis, reassemble and use it. Sell parts of guns and know your customers and suppliers well.

Selling firearms in their full built state might be illegal, but selling the parts is something different entirely.

Buy bullets only a few at a time, stockpile slowly as to avoid any notice by your officials.

“”to protect the pubic against the unreasonable risk of injury and death”

That’s what abstinence is for.

More laws will not protect the pubic against the unreasonable risk of injury and death associated with the unrecorded sale or transfer of firearms to criminals and youth.

Criminals will always have guns, no matter how many laws you pass. I am all for tougher gun crime laws. Show the next person who wants to commit a crime with a gun what will happen to them. Stop attacking law abiding citizens and attack the criminals.

These people are just BEGGING for a fight.

Seems that way doesn’t it. Unarmed citizens can’t rise up against a coup. That’s always the first step of any dictator after he gets the minds of the youth and ignorant and they have that already.

In my state you can sell a gun to someone else that lives in your state, no paper work required. You can also gift them to anyone. Only if you ship is paper work needed. Just make out a fake sales receipt, say you sold them at a garage sale, lost them when a canoe overturned, whatever, then hide them. There are plenty of videos on you tube that tell you how to hide them so that they can’t even be detected by metal detectors.
I assume these gun grabbers are going to reimburse the citizens that hand them over?
