I still recall the debates over SDI. I also remember the fears over the possibility of a Soviet-backed coup in Mexico placing a Soviet client state on our doorstep. However, Reagan did much to back-down the Soviets. Damn, I remember watching the Berlin Wall fall on TV. Crap, I am getting weepy now...

I was 10 when the film hit the theatres and my friends and I did use it like a training film. :-) Then again, my friends and I also played “NATO vs. the USSR” in the neighbourhood. Imagine a bunch of schoolkids dressed in cammo wielding tow rifles yelling “Eat lead, Commie scumbag” before “attacking” the unfortunate kids who had to be the Russkies.

Very intelligent garaffiti writer. Neat, legible writing and perfect spelling. Plus, not very many graffiti “artists” can spell “inauguration” correctly. Come to think of it, not too many can spell “graffiti.” I suppose sensible “right wing” gaffiti writers - what few there have been up to this point - are a cut above the usual.
