Lack of parenting allows the prolliferation of violent videoo games.
The fact that many parents are not doing their jobs does not change the fact that violent video games and media are not going to affect a large portion of the population who are mature enough to discriminate between what is real and what is not. Doing away with violence in media of any type will not solve the problem, but only serve to deny those of us who can view/play/experience violence in fictional contexts without allowing it to influence our decisions or personality the opportunity to do so. I really get pi$$ed off when some politician tries to make a law to ban violent games, movies, etc...that, my friend, leads down a very slippery slope...
Did I say anything about banning? Don’t put words in people’s mouths - or writing.
OTOH, if the “industry” chooses to “ban”, that’s fine and good. They can regulate themselves with honor, as movies once did (to excellent effect).
As another said, if parents had done the job in the 1st place (”long ago”?), this would probably be moot because likely no-one would have such low morals as to even make such “games” in the 1st place.
Well, if parents had done their job when their kids were young, there would be many fewer libtards than we have at the present moment. Without as many libtards to develop libtard-tainted violent video games, there would be no major concern...;-)
Once one has watched four armed men restrain a bound and gagged victim, then saw his head off while he screams in pain--continuing after the neck is severed--the thought of "negotiations" with such monsters indicates collusion or delusion.
Hussein stated he's ready to negotiate without conditions.
His advisor Brzezinski and his secdef Gates coauthored the 2004 CFR paper Iran: Time for a New Direction calling for negotiating with those working toward a new, nuclear Holocaust.
Yet a majority of voters fail to connect any of this--just as seven witnesses failed to prevent the article's horrific act.
Know the enemy, its why I watched......I've never let any of the family see it, but when the boys are older I will.
Its sickening but it also allows you to know what you face and how inhumane they are.
For those who need reminding of the horror of islamic executions then - BE WARNED IT IS SICKENING - go to http://antimullah.com and scroll down the left hand margin column till you get to a few graphics below the title:
“Click on the graphics below to see the true face of Islam”.
Each graphic has a different video attached (one has stopped working).
These are provided so that visitors have a single place to watch a tiny sliver of what islam means and its threat to the world’s safety and well-being.
Couldn’t someone pick-up a chair and beat the crap out of his guy? Unless they were all women, what is wrong w/these people?
Pray for America, Our Troops and Hussain’s Salvation
He could be a muslim.
Another Chinese monster who decapitated the young Canadian man last year was a Chinese Muslim.

Noticing that the BEHEADED student victim was Chinese and reminded of the almost certainty that Obama was or still is an Indonesian, I remembered an article AntiMullah posted in 2007 showing the atrocities islamic Indonesia perpetrated on their Chinese citizens.
AGAIN, A WARNING IT HAS GRAPHIC Photos

Finally. Good question. Was the deceased a Chinese National who had 'gone off the reservation' and decided to stay in the US? Maybe family dissidents back home? More to this than meets the eye, most likely.
NOnonononononoNO!
Get wit' de times, it be Obama's Fault!
Obama's Fault!
Dangit, I'm going to enjoy sayin that! Turnabout is fair play!
Being familiar with Tech and its campus, my guess is that the cafe was probably mostly deserted at 7:00 p.m. in the middle of the week. Reports suggest that the few people there when this animal attacked that girl were in fact women with no guys around. Tech is an enormous campus with many different places to eat or socialize, but during the week in the winter, it is usally pretty quiet.
It's possible and probable, that the witnesses really couldn't believe their eyes until it was too late.
The human mind -- especially a modern one so desensitized by horror flicks and video games -- took too long to register that this was REAL, not a movie and not a prank -- to do anything. After all, according to reports, there was "no argument", nothing leading up to such horrific violence, just a guy who started hacking her head off -- not the kind of thing you expect to have happen when you are sipping a latte & peacefully chatting on a weekday evening!
Yes, you’re probably right.
Gang Lu, graduate student from China, killed 4 of University of Iowa faculty and an employee in the early 1990s. Biswanath Halder killed a student and wounded two a couple a few years ago at Case Western Reserve U. Peter Odighizuwa killed three and wounded three at Appalachia School of Law in 2002. I wonder how many of these were Muslims or had a connection to hate American groups?
That’s what I wondered.
Like I said to Ramius, I don't think that it likely registered to the witnesses what was really going on until it was over.
That's a problem for most Americans -- who haven't been in a war or a victim of extreme violence -- that kind of violence being perpetrated against some one sitting next to you -- or even to you -- just doesn't register until its too late. It's like a break with reality, because what's happening "just can't be happening"!
Look, we all second-guess other people's behavior in a crisis and would like to think that we'd have intervened & been "heroes" in in the same circumstances. But the truth is that the vast majority of us who weren't trained for warfare, would have done exactly the same thing that these witnesses did.
From what I understand, the whole thing happened very fast and the police were there almost immediately. This was too quick for anyone to be "brave" -- actions were just reflexive.
“It would appear to this observer that the school has incurred a special duty to protect students in the aftermath of the Cho attack, if it continues to refuse to allow students the means to defend themselves.”
Well, my friend, the answer is obvious. VT must be a knife-free zone from now on.
I hadn’t heard of those before.
I don’t think Islam is very common among the Chinese is it?
This latest victim was also Chinese wasn’t she?
