Initial claims for state unemployment insurance benefits increased to a seasonally adjusted 588,000 in the week ended Jan 24 from a revised 585,000 the prior week, the Labor Department said.

I don’t believe YOU. I think Obama is punishing me with cold weather, snow and two inches of ice, because I throw away my political principals, and voted for a moderate RINO named McCain last November.
Its obvious to me the President controls the weather, and that President Obama is following the same exact course Bush and Cheney did, by inflicting bad/poor/dangerous weather conditions upon ME.
I know this, because I saw it on television, read about it on the internet, and somebody said Art Bell proved it conclusively.

What he's doing is stopping global warming and stopping the oceans from rising. He just hasn't told anyone he was fixing global warming at the same time as he's fixing the economy. He does it when he's sitting on the crapper, so none of his handlers realizes all that chanting and grunting is him doing the rituals and prayers to fix global warming. If they did you can bet it would be on the front page of the NYT's.
You can expect him to announce it soon though, because he never misses an opportunity to appear before the masses and hear the praise from his faithfull.
While your at it, how about installing a lightning strike targeting system, accurate to about 3 square feet or so?

Maybe the Democrats should delay the third wage increase which is supposed to take effect in July.
I, among with 800 other people at my workplace received notice that we were all targeted for layoff between April and June. Well over half the people here are losing their jobs.
