This is big stuff. She is one of the few governors who has come out with a strong “NO” vote on this spending bill. As a conservative, she holds many appealing stances on the issues. Her decision to propose cutting hundreds of millions from the state budget is another great move and should help to shore up her conservative credentials.
You’ll need to see if she consulted her snake back in early January because that is when she put out her first statement against the bill.
The nutjob left is obsessed with her. Posts about her dominate another forum I’m on. They laugh when told they’re afraid of her yet they completely obsess over posting news about her. Denial.

When the stupid AP story came out, I KNEW it was not true. Yet people without any evidence, just pure speculation, declared Sarah a RINO and a Socialist without ANY proof. I defended her because I knew the story was pure BS but ya know, people are gonna believe what they want to believe. The ones that don’t support her will love to believe anything negative about her. Don’t people realize by now NEVER to trust the Obama mania press, they are out to “Destroy us from within” they want the death of Conservatism, so they are starting with Sarah Palin. Let’s be smarter then that. We know Sarah is a Conservative, she has said on many occasions she reads the Constitution before she makes ANY decision. My kinda gal

Good. I wrote to Senator Murkowski and Senator Begich yesterday. I don’t have high hopes for Begich doing the right thing, but I spelled out my concerns and asked him to do the right thing by voting, “no”.

Oh I know it’s gonna pass, I am just glad that Sarah spoke out. She probably had no clue about the AP article and realized it after getting so many phone calls about it what was going on. I wish that Sarah were our President right now, but unfortunately she got stuck with McCain who all of a sudden now wants the bill killed..Funny how he had no issue with it when he suspended his campaign to go vote yes for basically the same damn thing. The Dems will pass it, we will become a Socialist country, and no matter who gets the nomination in 2012, no one will vote for fiscal responsibility, lazy bums want free free free, and that is what this package is gonna give them, free money for not doing a damn thing

It’s simple, calling her “stupid” and a “moron” isn’t working, she is still extremely popular, so how do you destroy someone, by destroying her from within, what is the one thing the radical left can do to bring Sarah down..by saying she is not a true Conservative, say that she is for the package, have Obama come out and say “See, even Sarah Palin agrees with me” Saul Alinsky’s rules for radicals “Destroy from within” its what they are doing to Rush Limbaugh, and its what they will continue to do to Sarah Palin, and we cannot allow them to get away with it
This is exactly why I said her blowing off the sissy RINO retreat in favor of attending the Obamao function in Washington was a brilliant move. She got to see the INSIDE of the enemy within rather than attending a sounding board event. Her presence there was indeed in the interest of her AK constituents.
There are forces in our own party aligned against her too...so beware. I love her, but am not coming out this early to say she is the only one we should consider for President(although I will be sending her seed money). I like this governor from South Carolina, Mark Sanford and Bobby Jindal too. We have some good conservative folks!
My biggest concern right now is 2010 and getting the rinos out and taking back the senate and house from the Obama cult.
I also think people are missing what she has to deal with at home. The ADN etc cannot say a bad word about last weekend because she was with the likes of Obama and Feinstein. If she had gone to a retreat with other Republicans her media at home would have gone wild.
