Maybe it was a THOUGHTFUL process, thinking of her constituents and deciding that it was bad for them and the country.

See #38. Like minds and all.

I would recommend that if the thousands of Sarah’s supporters can do only one thing in the next 2-3 years it is to make a pledge to defend Sarah from any ridicule, falsehood, or scurrilous attack perpetrated by Obama, the radical Left, the MSM or any conservative opponent that puts Sarah in a bad light or seeks to distort her positions.

“(Palin)has said on many occasions she reads the Constitution before she makes ANY decision.”

And I liked her before you told me that. Got a source?

I thought that if she were better versed in the Constitution she could have corrected Senator Biden during the VP debates, at least on the VP role supposedly only being mentioned in the Executive Article (which Senator Brain Damage Biden misidentified as Article I).

Also when they mentioned her lack of foreign policy experience she could mention that many of our Presidents and VP’s have been elected from Governorships without foreign policy experience, and that as a matter of the Constitution, Governors are explicitly forbidden to conduct foreign policy.

Also when Catty Couric asked her about Supreme Court decisions beside Roe vs Wade she disagreed with she could have not only mentioned Kelo vs New London but cited the “Public use” clause that has now been diluted to mean “any conceivable public benefit” mistranslated into meaning “anything that will bring in higher taxes”.

Governor Palin and all our elected and appointed officials would do well to read the plain and simple language of our Constitution every day.

I also think people are missing what she has to deal with at home.

What, like running a state and being mercilessly attacked in the national media at every turn is hard? Pshyeah.

She said so during an interview she did in Alaska after the election, I believe she said the same thing during Greta’s interview with her when Greta went up to Alaska to meet with her. Before any decision she makes in Alaska she reads the constitution to see if its the right thing to do

***Well that should finally shut up the freepers who were trashing her.***

It should, but it won’t. They’re only here to defeat any conservative in 1012.

The source I found, she is talking about the Alaska STATE Constitution, which no doubt is a lot more relevant to running the state of Alaska, but the principle of reading and consulting the Constitution is refreshing. I wish she had been more CONVERSANT on the U.S. Constitution, it would go a long way with conservatives and cannot help but “sound smart”.

I once cited Article I Clause 8 line 8 at a company meeting. Now everyone assumes I know (and can cite)every single line of the Constitution, rather than just my favorite, and the one relevant to the particular conversation.

Not to mention the ‘Save the endangered polar bears’ propaganda by Noah Wylie that’s all over cable. Never heard a damn thing about polar bears before Sarah.

Well, if I remember correctly, her blind date McQuisling "suspended his campaign" to go back to Washington to screw the American people and put in the fix, er I mean fix the problem.

I'll bet she hated it then too. Thank you Governor Palin for being your wonderful self.

Encouraging to hear Aunt Sarah taking this positive position against the Democrat boondoggle in the guise of economic ‘stimulus’.

Well, this should put to rest once and for all the false information that certain FReepers with agendas outside of the Conservative agenda have been spreading on the Palin threads lately.

She’s going to have to spend the next 3 years dispelling propagandized rumors about her and her positions on everything from taxes to her favorite color.
