Thanks, Meek!
Bumpity bump.
I remember this one:

Possibly. How about prop type guns. I can't imagine them having to confiscate a million toys.
** HEY! I resemble that remark!!! **

Yeah ... Yay! :^D
Excellent! :)
Squeeze slowly ... hit the target squarely !! :)
Yes’m. Mah pleasure! :)
LTNS! Nice to see you once again. :)
Excellent. America is about to declare itself bankrupt (well, not really, just print a ton of money). It's the one 'bubble' that has been spared popping for so long. Tech bubble, housing bubble, now, Fed bubble. It had to happen sooner or later.
Bankrupt states will soon be sending Washington IOUs. Better to march on your state capitol to preserve the 2nd ammendment, as your FedGov will be shrinking in influence due to serious revenue shortfalls and unfundedness issues.
Couldn't have happened at a better time: Socialist Boy becomes president, the states withhold payments, the Fed Bubble Pops and we're back to square one- that damn constitution.
March all you want, the freemarket is about to make a correction in government the likes of which we've never seen. My only hope is the tax cheats Obama has appointed to cabinet level have some sense of protecting this country from foreign enemies.
Toothless and underfunded is the best way to keep any government. Let the people decide for themselves how they wish to live and under what contracts they wish to abide.
There we go : ) I think there are several more. I’ll look tonight to see if I can find the rest.
It would be nice to see this bunch up on a platform.
The Bonus Marchers did not stay for just one day (as this is proposed), they built a tent city and that is what was cleared out after the veterans had been there for some time. The government would have no moral authority to go after us marching for one day compared to a bunch of veterans who had been camping for quite some time illegally. Even if they did, consider the outrage of the public upon Hoover when he did go after the bonus marchers. There would be similar if not greater public outrage if Obama attempted to go after us.
How they went about clearing these “Hoovervilles” was completely inappropriate and being a veteran myself I would tend to side with my fellow veterans. Especially since one of their leaders was one of the greatest Marines ever (Smedley Butler). With that said, what they were marching for was immediate payment of a WWI bonus that was not due to mature for many more years. There is no comparison between that and marching for our God given rights of self defense. We have no moral authority to obey unconstitutional laws and laws that go against the natural rights of man.
The media isn’t going to be on our side in any case. Or haven’t you been watching the news the last 20 years?
I just don't get why we need to be calm, cool, and collected when our very Freedoms are on the line. Why play nice when the other side lies, slanders, cheats, and steals to get their way. Stop trying to "work" with them, and realize they are CRIMINALS trying to literally enslave us.
As much *fun* as it would be to get arrested and having your ass kicked (and possibly losing your firearms(s)), a little decorum might be good.
I don't mean to necessarily single you out Wolfcreek, but when are you people going to figure out the way this game is being played?
The only people who get prosecuted are those who can not, or *will not* do political damage to the prosecutors for prosecuting them.
We have been giving the left the rope to hang us since the seventies. When one of theirs does something outrageous, they make excuses for it, and use any tool they possess to soften the repercussions of the action. When one of ours does something outrageous (to them... read: effective) the first thing they do is get us to sign on to how unacceptable such behavior is in civil society, and inflict as much punitive injury on the subject as they possibly can.
If people like you don't wake up soon, we are going to have an America where we can literally face charges for pissing off the wrong people.
We don't.
We *do* need to start playing rough with the "zumbos," however.
All I suggested was to follow the gun laws of which ever state you’re protesting in. (Don’t go taking an *illegal* weapon on a march at a state capital or such places.)
“The only people who get prosecuted are those who can not, or *will not* do political damage to the prosecutors for prosecuting them.”
Suggestions?
“we are going to have an America where we can literally face charges for pissing off the wrong people.”
Uhh, we’re there, Dude.
I can’t speak for everyone, but because of where I’m employed and what I do, I am not going to put myself in a position where I might have an arrest record. It is harmful to my continued employment so it’s just not going to happen. I’ve offered my support in other ways.
