Hey D.O.
decorum suggests 'being nice' on this forum, but we all realize that the Constitution has no power over these communists in charge...
maybe 20 yrs ago, but that ship sailed and now we're screwed to a hunker down state of being, waiting for the other shoe to drop...
this guy was a plant to further the agenda, nothing more...

I agree. I will say that as our leaders stray from Constitutional grounds themselves, it does lead others to question their adherence to it. That’s the main reason why our leaders should never stray from our Founding Father’s founding principles.

Well, those weren’t the only actions taken against terrorists in Iraq. You are being rather selective. LOL

I do happen to think a silent protest in Washington, D.C. participated in by tens of millions of people would make a very powerful statement. Cleaning up after they leave would probably take up an entire season on "Dirty Jobs".

I couldn’t tell you. We do have a pretty good indication of how many of the 535 people in Congress do. It isn’t pretty.

Good people make unfortunate comments once in a while. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for now. I’m not convinced you’re wrong mind you.

Capitol Police say a man was arrested after carrying a rifle to the U.S. Capitol Tuesday and telling officers he had a delivery for President Obama. Simple and safe staging for promotion of the next attempt to destroy the United States Constitution via reasoning to dissolve the 2nd amendment in it's entirety.
All one can do is just watch the promotion with disdain.

Like this?
“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

Or perhaps we should leave it there, so Congress can get a whiff of what we have been smelling for the last 20 years.

As much as I dont like what the President stands for, I dont think his being attacked would be good for anyone. Agreed, I would much rather see him resign in disgrace in a year or so.
To: DoughtyOne
Nope, not pretty at all. And that's the scary part.

Well as an historian, I admit i am not jumping the gun.
So far, what Obama has done to America is hateful.
And few can see ahead to what the hate will bring to the American people.
That hate is evident in Obamas writigs, no matter what image he has created for himself, and no matter who has helped create it, the fact of Obama's hatred for America stands uncontridicted. Now if you were to read Jonah Goldbergs book , ,a well researched and well annotated historial text, not polemic, you also would have a very full understanding of what Obama is and what his movement represents for us:
"Liberal Facism: The Secret History of America's Left , From Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning."
If Winston Churchill were alive today, he would have the same attitude I do about Obama. Churchill would have seen Obama's face many times before. And I will not apologize for it.
Obama is a stone cold fascist, packaged well bt the MSM. You may disagree, but please remember I have said it., but only after very intense study and research. Obama's activity in Kenya , 2006/2007, and his own writings prove the fact of his fascism. We'll check in with each other in a year or two, if there is any Free Republic left.

This country is founded upon the struggle of ideas. Make your best argument and gather like-minded people who will vote in your favor. Thats how we win.
This country was founded upon the downtrodden using lethal force to throw off the yoke of tyranny. It is only when there is freedom from tyranny that the arena of ideas can exist in the first place.
Don't ever forget how many have died, bloodily, to establish and protect that freedom.
