No U.S. President has ever been treated with such visceral hatred as President Bush has. I have always held my tongue during past RAT administrations, but those days are long gone.

At one point, it seemed as if Smiley was seeking to bring some balance, decrying the way Dick Cheney was constantly portrayed as Darth Vader. But as it turned out, Smiley could care less about insulting the former veep that way.

Cheney's admirers couldn't care less, either, because we considered it a compliment. Liberals just don't get it, because they're quivering wimps who feel inferior around any man with gumption.
