Everyone knows that Hansen’s first gig was to promote AGW to Congress for Enron so they could implement a cap-and-trade system and corner the energy market right?

You can’t lose something you never had.

Interestingly, almost every “crossover” scientist in the “global warming” battle has crossed from the Algores to the Nomores.

Virtually all who have quit/retired from agencies dependent on official support of global warming for maintaining and/or increasing their taxpayer provided funding have cited pressure to “toe the party line” as a factor. Almost all who have spoken out after leaving government service have cited Hansen, by name, as the poster boy for global warming fraud in government, whether they served in his agency or not.

Kind of like how virtually all “crossovers” in the gun-control war are from the anti-self-defense to the pro-self-defense groups.

Similarily, pro-gun groups cite government (i.e., state department of public safety, etc) data versus anti-gun groups cite “studies” by VPC (Violence Policy Center) studies funded by The Joyce Foundation, etc.

Suppose there is a pattern here? Nah! — I am probably just another right-wing conspiracy theorist.. Forget it......

Even the realization of Al Gore's dream of "capping" carbon emissions from coal-fired power plants wouldn't satisfy NASA's James Hansen.

What is less green than a NASA heavy lift rocket launch?

Once again it's do as I say, not as I do.

No, because that’s incorrect.

My bad. It wasn’t his first gig, it was a later one.

James Hansen appears to suffer bipolar illness. His rants have the quality of manic delusions of grandeur. It is ironic that the apogee of environmental hysterics would be achieved through the gaseous emissions of a genuine "mad scientist."

The closer global warming is exposed as hoax, the more hysterical it’s proponents become...
